Ive tried to set a basic website up due to my limited skills and the product i'm selling. However after 2 weeks ive had 13 page views mainly from google adsense.

I would also like to get a facebook page up and running and start hitting non-afiliated Amazon forum groups with banners of the service etc.

You need somebody who has a good understanding of optimizing your site for SEO for a starters.. a good "warrior rep" is not going to help you.

The first thing you need to do is see your site Looks like your competitors site , and then make it a lil better.
Otherwise all your SEO efforts will go waste, if people visit you site and it looks like it is now, they will never come back.
2.
If your site looks credible, at least they may comeback later
3.
make your site looking Good, and then focus on the SEO
