Mike,

I appreciate your interest in the plugin.

Yes, you can also create batches of posts using different keywords and in different categories of the blog.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to pass them along.

point2,

I appreciate your questions.....

The current version does not auto fill out the keywords and meta description.

The title comes directly from You Tube. You can also optionally display the YouTube description text from YouTube underneath it and the comments from YouTube.

If you choose to use the YouTube description, it is used as is. So, the links would not be changed to no follows.

For the description, I would highly recommend using your own content or allow it to randomly pull PLR as mentioned in the Pro sales page.

Keep in mind, the video posts are ordinary blog posts... You can edit them to your liking in the WordPress Post Editor.... after they are generated...

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.

Thanks,

I was about to give an order to my php master exactly for this, your timing is perfect

just a couple of questions: is it possible to create posts as draft and can we use any kind of search string (i mean something like "chocolate+white-cacao" like we can use in google)

thanks

Aaron,

Here is a portion of the Help file.....

The plugin has two different modes - Standard Mode and One Post At A Time Mode.

In Standard Mode, you tell the plugin to create a batch of videos posts immediately. You can create hundreds of video posts at a time, if you wish.

Each post has a "published date", which is the date when the post was published. If the "published date" is in the future, the post will not appear on the blog until then. WordPress orders posts by published date, so you can even create new posts with dates in the past and they will appear on the blog as if they were actually created on that date.

The Standard Mode allows you to create "current posts" (with todays date) or "future posts", which have dates in the future. You can also create posts with dates in the past (see the instructions on using the plugin below for details).

You can manually review and edit all posts (including those with published dates in the future), so you can ensure that no undesirable content appears on your blog.
While it does not create drafts, it creates posts in the future.... So, you could go in, review the posts and make them live whenever you want....

As for keywords, you can definitely use a keyword string as you mentioned.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Take Care,

Howdy! Like what I'm seein' here, but have a few questions... let me explain...

On the upgrade... where is a sample page of the multi videos all on one page you said it could show, using the thumbnails instead of the videos so it will load faster?

Also, I've used most of the other similar video plugins that do exactly what you say yours will do, but have had differing and recurring problems with three of them. (I don't give up easily ).

Somewhere around December 12-15, my favorite one that I was using on 10+ blogs just STOPPED feeding the videos on scheduled posts. They simply disappeared. I had over 2,000 vids scheduled, went through and edited them or deleted the description (for future purposes), previewed every scheduled video and had them ready to trickle trhough on a daily schedule... about 15-20 per day. Then ruh-roh, on Dec 12--15, I'm talking over 2,000 videos... poof... gone. No evidence videos had ever been on those posts at all, except the title and internal site links to other articles remained. I'm still cleaning up the mess. I used several themes, mostly Pinboard, but they ALL stopped working properly around the same date.

Another one that I had loved... touted that it pulled the highest rated videos for the keyword. Well, that SOUNDS great until you go to your main page that looks similar to Pinterest and see ONE video, the SAME video, geared up to play for over 30 posts. NOT good. I guess he wasn't thinking about what it looks like when in a scrolling gallery where you can literally view 100 videos in a few seconds in one swoop down the page. Very embarrassing... and once you have thousands of videos on your site... I assure you you would never notice this unless lots of them regularly appear side-by-side. So now that favorite is no good for my sites either.

Oh, and my very first favorite messed up when I changed to a scrolling gallery front page like Pinterest... because although we could choose and change the size of the videos -- good thing -- mine is a responsive theme so it constantly re-does itself and looks different on every different screen -- very bad thing -- so I needed the video size to respond, too, but it wouldn't -- very bad thing.

I share this because I reeeeeeeeeeeeally need a new great video plugin... and I'd like to see an example of the upgrade theme you mentioned with the gallery-type or multi-video home, archive, and category pages. Sounds basically similar to what I need for my home page. BUT, your upgrade page example is showing the exact same theme as your basic edition... without the thumbnails of the videos on the homepage (as you mentioned the upgrade would have).

I will say your page did load quickly (whereas my last favorite now is scorned by Alexa, telling me it loads 87% slower than ALL other websites on the internet.

Sorry for the book... but I really need you to understand where I'm coming from and what I need and if you think this will work with Pinboard, Mantra, Espinade(?) and similar responsive themes with a scrolling gallery-type home page?

ALSO, just wanted to say you're right on target about video blogs. Just as an experiment... I started one around Oct. 15... forgot to add anything or set it up till Oct 30th. On Nov. 3 Alexa ranked it around 4.5 million and in less than three months its close to 500,000, time on site is over 30 minutes per unique visitor who spends more than a minute on each page and typically views 13-15 pages. And that's with half the videos missing, lol!

Folks, just looking at the interface here, it looks fine. But all the comparably priced competitors have at least one problem for me that I can't do a workaround on. So I'm hoping YOURS will do the trick. And since it sounds like you were still testing and tweaking when my vids flew the coop, I'm thinking the fact that you're using YT API and you created this AFTER they had so many early December changes... that this should work.

Thanks in advance for your help!
Again... sorry for the book here... but all ears if you can share some insight

Robin,

I appreciate your interest...... and your comprehensive post....

I would suggest you try out the Pro version to see if it does all you need...

If you don't think it is worth more than what you paid, I'll happily give you a refund.

Thanks,
