Safe Swaps - Is Safe Swaps a Scam?
Share on:
fb share twitter share gplus share more share

A lot of people have been asking and emailing me about where do I get a lot of my leads from and where some spots people can do some paid advertising. If you've looked into or are already doing solo ads then you've probably already heard of Safe Swaps.

What I really like about Safe Swaps is that it's an open platform that ensures you get the right number of clicks. You don't have to be too worried about whether the solo ad vendor is completely lying to you. There are tons of feedback consisting of comments, likes and dislikes about every solo ad provider on Safe Swaps. You have a general idea and better feel of what you're purchasing prior to seeing the results, compared to a lot of other solo ad sites.

Once you login to your account, you automatically notice that Safe Swaps is really simple and easy to use; everything is laid out very neat and conveniently for you. Basically all you have to do is load up your swipe or offer that you're going to provide and then you find solo ad vendors that will be willing to swap with you. If you go under the “Ad Swaps/Solo Buyer” section and click “My Swipes” you're prompted to add a new swipe. You can have numerous swipes in your back-office and it's conveniently set up for you with a subject line, text section and basic editing tools to personalize your swipes. When you save it, this will be your swipe copy or your offer – this is important because you're going to need it to hook it to your autoresponder. Basically Safe Swaps allows you to verify the swipe with your list under AWeber, GetResponse or whatever you're using.

You can find some pretty good deals on solo ads from Safe Swaps at a pretty reasonable price. From experience, I get a pretty good conversion when I'm purchasing from them. What I don't use Safe Swaps for is the Ad Swaps. This is a personal choice because I don't want my list being sent a whole bunch of different offers and ads. I'm trying to grow my list and provide value to them, but depending on what you're trying to do with yours, Ad Swaps might be right for you.

What's really cool about Safe Swaps is that it also provides you with a booking calendar setting – allows you to keep track of your scheduled solo ads and swipes. This calendar is defaulted to show your monthly scheduled solos and it shows how many clicks you bought and extra delivered clicks if applicable in your case. A lot of people on Safe Swaps will be more than willing to provide you with extra clicks on top of your purchased amount. Sometimes there are errors within the system, so make sure you're tracking your clicks with another tracking software just to be sure.

Overall I think Safe Swaps is a great platform to buy solo ads and to also provide them. The monthly fee that you are required to pay is very minimal and really is irrelevant when you're profiting so much from these solo ads. Sometimes you got to pay for quality and there's nothing wrong with that because it is worth every bit of it. That's exactly what you're doing here with Safe Swaps – every bit that you pay is worth it because if you use this platform correctly and effectively, you can make a ton of money!

A lot of people are telling me that they're having trouble getting lots of leads. Since this problem seems to come up quite often, I decided I should talk to you guys about where you can find a way to generate a ton of leads. Of course there are many ways you can go about this, but a really simple, easy and affordable way is to use solo ads. I know a lot of people are skeptical of purchasing these from solo ad vendors because there are so many scammers out there. Well one site I found has a great reputation of having honest, well-delivering and promising solo ad providers. This site is Safe Swaps – you've probably heard about them, I know there's a lot of buzz in the online industry in forums, training and so forth on this particular website. Safe Swaps acts as a platform for solo ad vendors and marketers trying to reach a new audience, to come together, communicate and swap business with each other.

Just for the sake of newbies I'm going to briefly explain the basic, fundamental marketing formula you need to know in order to succeed so you can use Safe Swaps effectively. You know you need to have traffic in order to sell anything online and what you want to do with this traffic is drive it to the offer you're trying to promote. This offer should be something of value that people are intrigued by and will be willing to give their information whether it is an email address, phone number, name, etc. This information is called a lead and once you have a lead you're going to want to have a follow up system – Aweber, GetResponse or anything similar to communicate with your captured leads.

As I mentioned earlier, there are tons of ways you can get traffic to generate leads and there's both paid and free traffic. Today our main focus is solo ads from Safe Swaps, so this would fall under the category of paid traffic. A lot of people are turned off by this because they're very reluctant on spending any money, but what they don't realize is that it's okay to spend money on advertising, especially if you're going to get it back with profit on top of that. It's more than possible and actually really easy to receive a high ROI using Safe Swaps as a platform for solo ads.

If you want to sign-up with Safe Swaps, there is a small fee you do have to pay in order to be a member, but this isn't a bad thing! The fact that they require their members to pay usually scares off the scammers and lying solo ad vendors. It's a great place to meet and market with new people that are in the online business world. You can preview someone's profile prior to purchasing a solo ad from them. Safe Swaps allows people to review each other by leaving comments, like and dislikes on people's profile pages. A majority of the members on Safe swaps have tons of feedback from various people and customers that they've interacted and done business with. This allows you to have a good idea on what you should be expecting to receive on the delivery of a solo ad provider from Safe Swaps. If you're ready to take your marketing methods to a new level and are ready to generate lots of leads, then I highly recommend that you sign up with Safe Swaps.

I like Safe-Swaps too. I get a lot of quality traffic there.
P.S. They implemented a new feature today. You can top up funds to your Safe-Swaps account with PayPal now. Like it.

There’s been a ton of hype about solo ads lately and more and more people are using them today because PPC campaigns have been extremely competitive lately and are known to run you for your money. If you’re an online marketing newbie you might not even know what a solo ad is. Basically it’s a single email sent to a list of subscribed people that promotes your offer, whether it be a good, service, or even something free. Today I’ll be talking to you about solo ads and one of my favorite sites that I use as a platform for this is Safe Swaps.

Solo ads work by you purchasing clicks to your offer from providers sending out whatever you’re promoting to their list. You buy clicks usually in big numbers – 100, 250, 500, even 1000 clicks and are charged per click. Not only on Safe Swaps, but in any solo ad platform, the average cost per click usually ranges from $0.30 – 0.60 per click. I recommend if you’re just starting out to test only a small amount to test your offer and conversion rates. If you see a high ROI or potentially profitable campaign, move on to bigger numbers. There are tons of vendors available on Safe Swaps that offer a massive range in the amount of clicks they can and are willing to provide and sell to you.

Safe Swaps is great because they encourage giving feedback on people you do business with. You can thoroughly check out someone’s profile before you do business with them and most times than not, the reviews and comments are congruent to the solo ad providers promised delivery. You obviously are more inclined to do business with someone with a ton of good reviews from a variety of different customers and I highly recommend doing your research before you put money into any solo ad, or any investment for that matter.

You can also use forums to check out reviews on solo ad providers from Safe Swaps. I actually use Warrior Forum a lot and I find that these reviews are a lot more precise than the ones on the actual site. Not only are there reviews on Safe Swap solo ad vendors on here, but you can learn a ton of tips and neat things about this marketing method by simply reading other people’s experiences. Safe Swaps is a great platform to utilize, but there are always going to be scammers or “con-artists” in every site or program. Although Safe Swaps does a great job of filtering out these types of people, there will always be a small number of them that are lurking about, trying to your hard earned money. I really recommend using forums as a form of research. You really want to engage in these topics, ask questions, read and learn through people’s mistakes so you can avoid them and also mimic success stories. If used tactfully and effectively Safe Swaps can provide you with a great ROI, so take some time and learn all you can, then take action and make some money!

Join if you are looking for a safe, reliable way to swap. Uncle Dimitry is always adding new features as well (Free autoresponder, solo ads, joint ventures, etc.).

PS. I wonder how many people on Safe-Swaps conduct A/B Split tests on their landing pages and email copy?

Solo Ads and (targetted) Ad Swaps can really be a good addition to your list building strategy and Safe Swaps seems to me to be the best site to do both.

I wrote about it extensively as part of my free "50 Names a Day" free list building WSO, and am actually in the midst of creating an extensive list building WSO. In it I've done a case study using safe swaps as the source for solo ads and swaps. I'm also interviewing some advanced users of the site.. so it should be real interesting to anyone considering.

So when you think you are building a list because the numbers in your autoresponder are climbing you should double check the IP addresses of the traffic your getting for any similarities or a lot of duplicates.

I'd recommend it for IMers. You'll get quality subscribers and sales conversion if you know which solo seller to buy from.

I'm planning to test the results with the landing page and then tweak it a bit. I'll be writing a post about it on my site to share the results with my readers.

But is the lead worth it? I mean they are not exclusive but are on many lists and so the probability of your email being opened is less.
