Warrior Forum Design Changes Hello everyone We're in the process of tightening up the Warrior Forum design. If you have momentary issues with rendering, simply clear your cache and cookies and it should rectify. If it doesn't, hold tight because we are tweaking things! Regards Alaister |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Looks great so far Alaister! Good job! I look forward to seeing the things you have in store. :) |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Did you guys give thought about the WSO and for sale sections? Meaning ... tons and tons of WSO's designed to "blend in" - particularly the back ground color. You are going to have people scrambling ... anybody in the middle of a launch is going to have a hear attack ... |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
Yeh this is a good point. We did think about people in the middle of product launches and tried to keep things as similar as possible. The background colors should still be the same. There was an error where it made the background white for a while. We have fixed that. It may take a few minutes to update. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
I'm glad you like it! |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
I am glad I wont have to. ( btw ) i am not launching anything. I was just feeling bad for those that are. |

Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
I know you can close the tab, but it doesn't stay closed. - not sure if that is a bug or by design - imho ... it should not be active at all in any section someone pays for. |

Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Wow! Super clean! Thanks for the design update! |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes It’s very uncomfortable to read everyone’s comments with the new font. I miss the Verdana we had before. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
- Maybe I should have clicked them at least once to find out. ;) However sn't that option already in the "link back" controls? If non members cannot see those controls then it makes perfect sense to me. Other wise it is kinda redundant. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
Our thinking behind it was to make the social sharing buttons more visible so that more people would share. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Hi The new design is looking great. Thanks for the change. It was and it would be a great place to learn IM. Good luck. Parg |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Previous font was pretty awesome (at least to me). |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Is it my imagination or have the borders disappeared or become very faint. I don't like it at all. Some of the writing has shrunk so small, it is ridiculous too. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
I suppose we'll all get used to it, like the last big ios update, in a few days. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Looks good to me. Already commented in the other thread on what I'd change and a couple of bugs I've noticed. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes I like the new design.... Although what I'd like to see even more is the removal of these "Copy & Paste your way to $1,000,000 per month in only 8 minutes per day" WSO's |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes I'm sure this horse was beaten to death a while back, but why are you screening out members' skype addresses from their posts? |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes I am liking the design. Excellent work. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Love the new design enhancements. Not drastic change, but looks more modern already. WF was starting to look very out-dated. |

Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes New design has better readability. Like it. :) |

Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Now its design seems more professional and spam less. |

Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
And I am inclined to say the same about regular threads. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes The new design looks better imo, easy on the eyes and I think I also notice some site speed improvement. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Does it matter what anyone thinks? The majority didn't want any design change. I'd recommend checking the stats in a month and seeing if it's been a success or not. My bet, is if it remains the way it is now, the time on site and average page per visit will be lower. I don't dislike it... but numbers speak louder than opinions. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Got a bit of a shock when I first saw it and I'm finding the red very bright and glaring, but no doubt will get used to it. Noticed one thing - it no longer gives the month when people have joined - just the year, which is a pity. I usually check to see how long someone has been a member before buying a WSO. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes It looks amazing on my retina display. Great job! |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes I am loving the new design, great work guys! |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes The new design looks way better. The only thing I don't like is the Register Here icon/button being there even when I am logged in. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
I hate having to click refresh every time just to see what to click on next. The 'old design' worked great and a return to that would be very welcome. Please improve how this looks/works now for easier navigation. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
Yes I hated it to but I thought to try something and sure enough there it was! you can get the month and day by going to a members profile which would be a real pity if it also gets removed. I also hate that there is no unique Icon for threads that you have replied to. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Quote:
I'd rather see the search function restored. That should have been fixed before doing the redesign, IMO. Members rely on the join date - including month. The current redesign does not reflect what is important to the members of this forum. Again, just MOO. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes The new design was a bit of a shock when I first logged on but I could get used to it.. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes I'll probably get accustomed to seeing things changed like changing the way dates are displayed: 3rd June 2014 instead of June 3, 2014. Right now I'm just mildly annoyed at being forced to see things the way the rest of the world sees them. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Those banner style pictures in the sub forum rows on the front page, are just horrific. They clash with the forum. |

Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes Hello Alaister, Sorry, but I have to express some concerns here, your new changes in regards to renaming the threads was fine, the forum design is pretty good as well overall. However, these new graphics you have on the main index look beyond tacky and out of place, if I were you I would start thinking about the users on here instead of how to highlight the sections that make you money. You have not been on here that long and it just looks as if you're thinking (money) not (community) and that is going to sink this ship, respect the users that have been on here for many years including myself, lose the respect and you may end up with a forum only used by the wrong type of crowd. Just my two cents, take it as you will! Regards |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes I like the new design. It's brighter and cleaner. Easier to read everything. |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes I like it, but banners are too big ... |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes I get the idea but my first impression of the new home page with the images is spam. Like you're trying to hard to get attention. I do think having an image is OK but they are so over sized they are rude. lol May I suggest a more discrete and subtle approach by trimming them down to a slimmer dimension? They are so big they look totally out of place and desperate! |
Re: Warrior Forum Design Changes The "War Room" is a private forum, yet today it's no longer included as a subforum in "Private Forums". This makes absolutely no sense! |

I realize it doesn't affect the function, but they should be categorized accordingly. |
