I wonder if you guys do small quick programming jobs?

What I need help with:

I am using WooCommerce with the Getresponse Integration plugin in order to get my customers to be opted into my Getresponse Autoresponder list during checkout.

I get the the opt-in checkbox to appear on the checkout page but the checkbox needs to be manually checked by the customer in order to opt into my list upon checkout.

Since I am using my autoresponder as a part of my product delivery system I need this checkbox to be checked by default and also unable to be unchecked.

This should be an easy php / css job that can be done in 15-30minutes tops (probably quicker given you guys are experienced programmers).

Just thought it was time to give feedback on the services that i've been using here.

I've been using a full time PSD designer for nearly 2 months now and am totally happy with the service. The designs are always really well layed out, the elements used are modern and gives the deisgns a nice feel to them. They're always consious od the structure and colouring of the sites to give the right impression.

They ask the right questions and do give you great value for money. For my designer, i use timedoctor so you can see progress of what they're doing..which saves a lot of time as you can stop them if they're not going in the right direction but wth the quality of the work, this is very rarely needed.

SO excelent all round and hope to be using the for a long time to come.

These guys seemed great until I showed them my design document, that is where the BS began...

Before even agreeing to something, they asserted that they had began on a back end for my project and to please pay soon because they were "worried" they were not going to get paid and work had begun.

I was not impressed, with how they went about it all. Usually if you want to take it upon yourself to do work that would impress the potential client, you would have chosen to do so of your own mind. A going of the "extra mile", to seal the deal if there was any doubt by the client.

These people wanted to use it as a way to strong-arm me into paying them. I never once asked them to work on the website, just to let me know they understood the unique functionality needs...

I decided to see what they had done for myself, so I clicked the link they sent me. It took me to a basic version of my dashboard layout, but no links worked... Anyone could have created that in 15 minutes with an HTML editor! It was just a non functional menu and poor looking 1990's gradients as the container graphics...

I was not impressed, but not terribly put off yet either. It was not until I decided to go to the root website of the demo they sent me (to look around and see what they were all about, of course). That is when "It" happened...

I stupidly used IE to open the page, having multiple browsers for my work is common and I had no reason to mistrust these people at this point. I know IE is horrible, and I have no script blockers for it. However, seeing no apparent danger at looking at a "web developers" website, I used IE.

BIG MISTAKE!

I kept getting an adobe flash prompt, it was a loop. I knew then and there it was trouble, because the loop halted my system. They had an exe run automatically, it was one of the typical java viruses that hijack your system and make you run a "virus scan". I was amazed...

After a few hours cleaning in safe mode and a night of cleaning with boot disks, I was back to work... The first thing that I did, was to question Dipak about it. His answer was of course, "i know nothing" and denial. Needless to say, I promptly blocked dipak.tewary1 and will not be doing business with these people, at all.

I just don't understand why anyone who has the talent to develop in php, java, etc, would have to resort to bad business, just to make a dollar. It shows, that they probably have little to no real skill at all.

Bottom line is:
If you have a real web development project that you want to outsource... Stay FAR away from these scam artists, their skills are faked and their intention is to fleece and run.
