Does this WP plugin exist?

Hello!

I'm trying to find a WP plug-in that will hide the buy now button on my website until a video has played for a certain time - so I can co-ordinate the button's appearance with the "click the button to order" bit in the video.

There are lots of tutorials about how to do this on an HTML website, but I want to do it on my WP site without hacking the code, and a plug-in would make life a lot easier

Does anyone know if such a plug-in exists, and if so, where it can be downloaded?

I've never run across a plugin that will do such a thing. Sounds like a "neat" idea but, here are a couple things you might want to consider.

First, the download speed of each user will not be the same. You and I may hit "play" on the video at the same time, but you might get to the "Buy Now" mark faster than I do. Whether it be because of lag or because I paused the video, our times probably won't match up.

Second, let's say I watched the video, took a couple days to think about it and then came back to buy. What happens when I get to your site and can't find the buy button? Yep, you just lost the sale.

IMO, you should never limit the user's ability to purchase. If they're ready to buy after 2 seconds, why make them wait?

I do this based on page load and have the video autoplay with HTML code, so the Buy Button appears after so many seconds

There is also a plugin for sale in the WSO section that delays the buy button.

I've seen SO many marketers doing this lately, but I never checked into it. If you do find a page and it's wordpress you might be able to figure out the plugin by looking at the pages source code.

Better you do coding which gives you good results then depends on plugin which can be skipped by users.
