Does Elementor Conflict with DIVI?

In a terrible situation here. My entire site is built on DIVI. We had a designer come in (paid) to build a few landing pages but the owner miscommunicated that we needed a divi expert and instead he installed Elementor...and that broke the site more or less. Any changes he makes in Elementor do not save and the site acts weird.

I've asked divi..they are playing stupid.

Please, for the love of god, can anyone tell me if its' a known thing that elementor conflicts with divi and they can't be used at the same time?

This is turning into a NIGHTMARE...expensive nightmare. Please....help me .

    Both are page builders (other than Divi being a theme itself), and installing/activating both will definitely cause issues. Whoever you hired is definitely not a professional, anyone with decent knowledge wouldn't have installed another page builder on top for Divi, that's just stupid.

    Yup I agree. Two different builders. Personally I like Elementor. Elegant themes, the force behind Divi was my go to theme creator for many years ago...many years ago . However in recent years builders like Elementor became very powerful. Send me a link to your site and I will have a look see (from the outside looking in). If you do go with Elementor in the end (which has a much larger user base I believe than you can obtain full build out kits. If you build from scratch I suggest using Astra as a basic theme rom which to build. Its basic, has most of what you need and is easy to customize. It may not be a big deal to bite the bullet on one path or the other.

    No, Elementor and Divi do not conflict with each other. Elementor is a page builder plugin for WordPress, while Divi is a theme. They can both be used together without any issues.
