Is it possible to show a list of posts on a homepage using wordpress? Is there a suitable plug-in that makes this easy?

I want the reader to see all previous posts without having to keep clicking on each one.

Can anyone help?

A list in what the sidebar??? or in the main page area?

And are you meaning the full post an not just a portion of it? as that is just a case of removing the More tag in your php page for posts. Some themes come default with it splitting the post.

Under General > Reading in your WP admin panel, make sure "For each article in a feed, show full text" is checked. I believe it's already checked in the default theme, but maybe not in your particular theme.

Under Widgets drag the RECENT POSTS to the sidebar. Default max is 15 posts. That will show the titles only on the home page (in the sidebar.)

If you just want the title and no content of each post to show up on your home page in the main content sections - you could copy the content of each article to a separate page (created just to show content) - then put a link straight to the full article on the first line of your posts content section.

(OK - there would be something in the posts content box - probably couldn't publish a post without something there....)

THIS IS THE TITLE OF MY MOST RECENT POST

THIS IS THE TITLE OF MY NEXT MOST RECENT POST

THIS IS THE TITLE OF MY MOST RECENT POST etc..

I think that would look a little strange - but that's one way to do it.

    - If you want the entire contents of the post to be inside the posts content box, but don't want it displayed on the home page - maybe you can modify the style sheet or find a theme that only lists titles of posts and not content (unless clicked?)
