Smooth Slider Wordpress Plugin

Anyone able to shed some light as to where this plugin has dissapeared to?

I can't find it in the wordpress directory and the main download link on their website simply links to the wordpress plugins directory - where there is of course no sign of it!

Has it been taken down? I used it on a few sites a while back and would love to use it once more on an upcoming project!

Could you do me a favour and search for it on your end to see if it's me doing something wrong here?

Not sure if I can help with that plugin. I use ultimate footer ad and it seems to do the trick just fine. The other plugin may have went unsupported for newer wordpress versions, not sure but UFA seems to work fine with wp 3.1.

Haven't used that, but if it works like this: Wordpress Slideshow Plugin: Superb Slideshow , then you might as well use superb slider. It's cool. I'm using it.

  Did you find your slider plug-in?
  
  If not, another alternative is WP-Cycle by Nathan Rice.
  
  "This plugin creates an image slideshow from the images you upload using the jQuery Cycle plugin. You can upload/delete images via the administration panel, and display the images in your theme by using the wp_cycle(); template tag, which will generate all the necessary HTML for outputting the rotating images."
