Sub-domain Question

Hello Fellow Warriors

I am not that technical and would appreciate your help. I have a hosting account with Blue Host. I have my main site which has 6 KW rich sub-domains in which I am trying to get to rise in the Search engines.

Is the fact that they are sub-domains hurting my seo efforts? Or does the big G see them as individual sites?

(Your help is appreciated, and my apologies in advance if this is a dumb or repetitive question)

    sorry, I have one hosting account and my main site with all of my other domains listed as sub-domains/add on domains. Does G look at each of my sites individually? Does the fact that they are sub-domains of my main site hurt seo efforts? They all have the same dedicated IP address, does that help or hurt seo efforts?

    login in cpanel & got to subdomain & make a subdomain under your domani. a subdomain is a defrent site under your main domain as like " forum.yourdomain.com"

      A subdomain is treated as a separate site from your main URL and needs to build it's own page rank.

      A subdirectory will be treated as part of your main domain and inherits all the SEO juice that your main domain has acquired.

      Subdomain - subdomain.maindomain.com

      Subdirectory - maindomain.com/subdirectory

        That's is correct, a subdomain is treated as a separate site. We created a mobile site for example which we placed in a subdomain. The mobile site is seen as a separate website by google. Actually google recommends that you do this.
