Need a suitable wordpress theme

Hello Warriors,

I am an absolute newbie, about a month old to be precise. I am also a new member here and am not sure if this is where I should post this thread. I am sorry if it's not.
I was wondering if any of the members here could help me solve two issues...

The first of them being, I have just set up a blog and have been looking for a wordpress theme that would suit my blog but can't find any, could anyone suggest one for me?

The second is that I am looking to add an optin to my blog so that I can build a list. How would I do that? :confused: and what would be the best application to use.

    I think you could make an attractive looking website using either the Thesis theme or Woo Themes Gazette which gives a nice magazine type appearance. They both come with training videos.

    It's very easy to put an optin form on your website using Aweber, you just fill in the details to create your first list, then create a web form, I've made you a little screen capture video here to show you how to do it, I hope the link works ok 2012-06-21_1914 - JohnMorrod's library
