You guys helped clear something up for me a week or two, so I thought I would give it another shot. I have a reasonable understanding of HTML and CSS, but I'm trying to help a friend out with his ChannelAdvisor eCommerce site. See here:

ClearH2O Tackle

The way things work within their system is sort of wacky. You don't have direct access to the CSS and individual pages, to play with the HTML, so everything is a workaround. All I'm trying to do is add the following image:

As a footer to the entire site. Site width is set at 800px, and the image is 800px. Any of you guys have experience working with these stores? I've seen it done, but can't seem to decipher the way other stores have done it. An example would be here:

Teczilla - Discount Cell Phone, Jewelry and Watch Store

Ideas?

    Hi,

Sometimes although you don't have direct access through the online admin tool, you can login via ftp and view the background files in order to edit raw code.

Edit: Just be careful and remember to backup everything that you touch!

I wish it was that easy. The only FTP access you have is to the "images" folder. Everything else has to be done through their admin tool. Sucks, but that's the deal. I know it can be done though.

      Any other thoughts?

Can you not access CSS files and such through the admin tool?

There is list of things that can be turned on or off within the admin tool. You add the CSS to the "header" area of the page. But no, you can't change the actual CSS file directly.

Man, this is just driving me nuts. Can anybody tell me how they would do it if they had access to everything? Maybe that will point me in the right direction. I'm not getting anywhere with their support team. Help?
