New Plenty of Fish Ad Rules!!!

Here are the new POF Rules to my best knowledge...

Got lots of PMs regarding approvals so wanted to share.

In the new rules NONE of the following are allowed:

- Bare torsos, chests, or stomachs.
- Swimsuits.
- Short shorts, short skirts, or anything exposing too much leg.
- NSFW images.
- Overly sexual ad copy. (ie "Begging for a Man")
- Overly sexual looking gestures & faces.
- Teenagers or people that look underage.

Also Plenty of Fish will be retro-actively denying ads, so unfortunately that risky ad you got approved last week probably won't be approved for long.

So many ads has been just declined.
I almost give up making ads there lol, thought is something wrong with me and they just won't approve my ads.
    Not so easy now.

There's plenty of solid ppc sources. POF is still solid, you just have to follow the rules or they won't run your stuff.

I think I'll just stay with POF, and try my best with them, no point to jump between sources.

That's why I gave up on pof too many restrictions. But I can see they are doing this for a better user experience. Good luck to thoss who still advertising on pof.

Being new starting out with CPA, I was a little discouraged thinking this would hurt me. In reality, it's almost a good thing because it brings the experienced and successfull ones, almost down to the level of the new pof advertisers. Made my first $15 yesterday on pof so i'm pretty stoked about that lol

It works both ways if you think about it. Harder approvals make less competition and more of a level playing field. Good for many, bad for a few

In the end this will help us as advertisers because by removing all these sexual images we needed to use just to compete, our lead quality will increase.

And since the rules apply to everyone, it won't effect things much... you'll just have to find new images.

It isn't like they are banned offers or anything. Or started getting sporadic with their approvals like Facebook.

It is a change for the better.

    No reason to give up.

But so many restricted banners running in POF at the moment, don't understand how no one stops them.
Or maybe it's only for the new creatives after thee new rules applied.

It'll be interesting to see the results of all the changes. If anything showing "too much skin" is not allowed now, what's left to attract attention: horror and humor?

This is good news though in a lot of ways.

The ads on there were looking slutty and cheap, with awful landing pages just like porn ones, but with a few words changed.

Like someone said above, it means a lot of underhand guys (read: smart advertisers) will quit POF and reduce the competition.

I appreciate if someone can shed some light on the following questions I have:

    1. What are the good CPA neworks that accept POF traffic?

    2. I am a member of PeerFly. In most of their dating offers, there is the statement "All Leads must be captured through approved landing pages." I was unable to get a clear reply from them. If anyone in this forum who promote offers with Peerfy, can you please tell me,

Does this mean direct linking is not allowed?

Do I need to send all landing pages to PeerFly for approval (including intermediate presell landing pages)?

What does "lead capture landing pages" exactly mean? (LPs that collect email addresses?)

    Thank you for your help,
    Shawn

Pretty much all of them do.

Does this mean direct linking is not allowed?
No direct linking is usually allowed.

Do I need to send all landing pages to PeerFly for approval (including intermediate presell landing pages)?
Usually only for offers that need approval.

What does "lead capture landing pages" exactly mean? (LPs that collect email addresses?)
    Generally yes.

But I can't really speak on part of PeerFly, so ask them since each offer can be different.

I want to start on POF, however, I wonder, if there are any good alternatives which I could also review? I'm looking for beginner friendly networks first and foremost. Thanks.
