Are these processes worth testing?

I'm going to use PPV to build my list.

The 2 tests that I am thinking of running are:

PPV Opt-in page>>>to download page (access free report)

PPV Lander(no opt-in)>>>to Opt-in page>>>to download page( access free report)


I'm just trying to get into the mindset of the kinds of things that need to be an can be tested. Is this something worth doing? Or should I stick to one of the above processes?

    Yes. Test both.

    Some targets one will work better than the other, and vice versa. It's good you're thinking like this. Most would just take one offer and not even bother with a landing page. You're on the right track.

    Yes, it's def worth it to test both

    Yes, it is very worth testing both. Lots of times it is a great strategy to get the user clicking around on your site before trying to get their email.

    It lets the user build trust with your site, so it can really help conversions.
