If you're very mobile and logon to public WIFI networks using your SmartPhones, Tablets and Laptops, then you'd better be on VPN ( Virtual Private Network ).

It hides you from SNIFFERS ( more info on video here ). Even if sniffers intercepted your data, it is still safer because your data is encrypted while on the VPN.

A few paid VPNs offer AES-256 RSA 2096bit encryption. It is military grade encryption. Very tough to crack. Could take thieves like 1 year to crack and finally be able to read whatever they grabbed online...

Even if some WIFI and LAN require secure passwords or WPA-PSK keys to connect, anyone can break into them EASILY. People with malicious intent would then do whatever they want to do, like installing tiny sniffing apps on network devices. It'll be worse if it happens to be an inside job by EVIL people .. sending juicy stuff to Really-Wicked-Leaks Dot Com ... lol.

So, even if any of the WIFI or LAN networks were broken into, with a VPN you'd still be pretty safe because your data is traveling encrypted through it. They can grab it, but it'll take too long to crack it.

And what if you don't use VPNs in Public Wifi? TOUGH LUCK ! Those evil punks are all over the place now to sniff on you. It is their dope. They even place rogue hotspots as honey-pot.

And do you really think just by having Antivirus, Firewalls and AntiMalware can help you from getting hit? Nope.

If they can't crack your PC, they still CAN SNIFF and GRAB WHATEVER DATA is traveling from/to your PC. Your data ( including passwords ) are wide-open and readable unless they are encrypted. Check out this video to see how easy it is to sniff network traffic.

So VPNs are for data security and not just for CPA freaks.

-------------------------------------
CPA = Cost Per Acquisition. You get commissions from leads via email submits, zip submits, registrations, downloads and many more. Learn more => : Ad Networks - CPA, CPM, CPL - Millionaire Makers..
--------------------------------------

Some international IM'ers rely a lot on free VPNs to change their IPs in order to view CPA Offers Limited For Certain Territories only. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. And since its free, Free VPNs get clogged by users, get disconnected often and are very slow.

Some CPA agencies, networks and advertisers also purposely redirected traffic from VPN proxies to unwanted SITES. Just not worth their time to entertain Proxy traffics.

And there's another issue here. Never happened to me but it was rumoured that some Free Proxies are stealing CPA leads and commissions by changing CPA codes. It'll be a waste of effort if its true.

All those rumours that come along with FREE VPNs will cause indigestions. I prefer a peace of mind and it is not expensive to have one.

So publishers running CPA offers should get Paid VPNs that cover the territories they want. It is faster, safer and more reliable.

Read this if you're not into CPA but you TRAVEL OVERSEAS a lot

Some countries BLOCK and CENSOR certain sites to limit their countrymen's knowledge on certain matters.

And here's what really sucks - some even BLOCK YOUR MEANS OF COMMUNICATION.

When you're traveling and upon reaching your hotel room safely, it is good to update your friends and families. But you can't communicate without paying steep mobile phone roaming rates. Their ISPs totally blocked your micro-blogs, voip apps and social media. Even online mapping tools were blocked ( which really ticks me off the most ! ). And some hotel WIFIs are chronic with sniffers and malware.

And there was also one foreign location which virtually blocks all my favourite Royalty-Free sites. I had to get an associate in another country to select and email me comp copies. Then after I selected, send some money to him to buy the needed items. And then he will FTP the items to my private server. .. whewww.... Yeah, they blocked DropBox too.

For a content developer who is on a short stint in a foreign country with a short deadline, that is a hell too much process and will slow down work, significantly.

Well... a Paid VPN would usually overcome those "situations" in your subsequent trips. . After activating my VPN, all the sites were unblocked. Make sure to check with VPN providers whether they cover the places you're going before you fly. It is also wise to check market reviews about the providers before you decide.

And here's another advantage of Paid VPN. Your ISPs won't be able to track where you've been and analyze your behaviour. I read some articles years ago that stucked in my mind until today. Some evil ISPs sell surfing behaviour data to Advertisers !

You'd see Paid VPN users are logged in your Web Server stats with none other than the VPN's assigned IP addresses or just the word "encrypted".

With Paid VPN, you're safer from those prying eyes. It helps maintain a certain level of PRIVACY against unscrupulous groups.
