If you're into copywriting or marketing, it's definitely worth checking out what Craig has to say... He worked with Gary Halbert, he makes a TON of money selling his own products, and he's a great model for any aspiring (or established) copywriter... I decided to just post this open on my blog, originally I was going to force an opt-in... There is a VERY brief pitch about his book towards the end, but everything else is pure content, and I've included no affiliate links in the post. If this is inappropriate, please let me know. A little about what we cover... -How to create products that are practically guaranteed to sell... -Why it really is easy to make $20,000 or more a month... -How to position yourself so your customers need you more than you need them... -Why being accessible to anyone (may) be bad business... -No one cares how much you know... Until you do THIS... -How to charge $10,000+ to write a sales letter... -The fundamental mindset that ANY successful business owner MUST have.... -Gary Halbert's greatest talent, and it wasn't writing copy... -How to create genuine trust and loyalty with your customers... -How Craig Garber convinced Gary Halbert to launch his career... -How to value your time... And how to make your customers value your time and products... -How to attract customers instead of chasing them... -How to (and why you MUST) qualify your prospects... -What NEVER to say to any potential prospect or customer... Yet many marketers do it on a daily basis. -How to commit business suicide... And what to do to avoid it... -Why most peoples biggest obstacle is their mindset, and what to do about it... -If you're a freelancer, how to create continuity and cross promotional products in your business... I was going to edit my end of this, I sound like a nervous little kid at the beginning, but I calmed down eventually, so forgive me for that. Here's the link. Interviews | Interview With Craig Garber… Hope you learn something and enjoy it! Thanks, -Scott P.S. If this is borderline "self promotional" please let me know... It's on the blog, there's no affiliate links, and I really think most people will get a lot out of it, so I *think* I'm in the clear. The only thing currently for sale on my blog are my services, which I'm not trying to market to you guys, since this is an interview for copywriters and all... |

I can vouch for this interview's quality. Really interesting material, and not just a pre-sell for Craig's book.

Thanks Gil-Ad, And I'll be the first to admit that Craig has a "love him or hate him" type of personality. I also don't agree with everything he says, such as never giving free consultations... If I sense a guy has a project I want to work on, and he's pre-qualified, I'll give him a free half hour to talk about it... But for the most part, I personally think he's a very bright guy... He's got the success to back it up, and although he comes across a little cocky at times, I think he's interesting to talk to/listen to and just about anyone can learn something from him that will help them make a little more money. I appreciate you chiming in. Thanks, -Scott |

Scott, That was a great interview. I'm gonna have to listen to it again and take notes. Looking thru some of your letters you wrote, you are a talented writer. You don't try to be clever or eloquent, but man, you can hit the nail on the head (small tip - have the links to your samples open up in a new window - when I closed the sample letter I also lost your site) Dave |

I LOVE Craig's stuff. He has a no-bull**** style I gel with completely. Thanks for the interview, looking forward to checking it out. And I don't consider him cocky at all btw. I've read his newsletter and listened to several of his audios, and watched several of his vids. He comes across as a straight shooter who is highly confident in his skills as a direct response copywriter. Ain't no shame in that game! ![]() He's actually one of my favorites still living, lol to follow and learn from. Thanks again for the post Scott. Warm regards, C |

Great job Scott. Craig came across as both sincere, very knowledgable and spoke with no self-promotional pitching during the interview... which can be a rare combination in our industry. ![]() Definitely worth listening to this interview IMHO. |

Scott, Good job. You did well - just let your guest talk and out comes some useful info. I'd say Craig had great belief in his abilities - honed over many years and much effort (What he said about how easy it is to earn $20K monthly comes to mind...) He mentioned several times how much he valued his time - the one thing we all get the same amount of each day. I can see he doesn't (or no longer) suffers fools gladly. That's a great attitude to have in business. And I can sense he has an end game in mind - cut the "selling time" activities out in 4 or so years and let the multiple streams info products feed his cash flow needs. Clever man. Thanks again. Interesting that he mentioned his choice of recent novels - I'll have to look that Japanese author up. |

Great stuff. I love Craig's stuff and I think that aside from Walker he's the guy who has helped me the most by far in my own personal development. He's had the strongest influence in how I run my business by far.

Thanks for the awesome feedback guys... Very much appreciated... Quote:
He's actually a genuinely nice guy. And I really appreciate his straightforward style now that I'm familiar with him. Always love the audio stuff with his newsletter. @ Brian and Mike... Thanks guys! Really glad you guys enjoyed it. Really appreciate the comments. @ Mark and Brandon... The main thing I get out of Craig's stuff is motivation and ideas for my own business. I really do like his philosophies on just running and marketing a business in general. He gets deep into mindset stuff too, which I kind of dig. @ Ross and Sam... Thanks guys! Glad you enjoyed it. Feedback is VERY much appreciated. Here's to an awesome 2010. -Scott | |

Good interview, Scott. Thanks. This is the first Craig Garber interview I've heard and he's not what I thought he might be. Just goes to show you really can't judge a book by its cover. |

70 minutes, holy hell! Nice one Scott. Love him or loathe him, Garber knows his stuff. Those comic book ad critique DVD's with his seductive selling course are the shizzle - I think anyway. Looking forward to this when I get the chance, thanks again. Colm |

It's a derivative of the word "shiznit" and closely related to "forizzle". "That concert was the shizzle." "I don't know what the fuzizzle I'm talking about." Check out some old Snoop Dogg, for rizzle. It's the bomb-diggity. -Scott P.S. This was posted awhile ago. There's an affiliate link on the post now, just a heads up. I didn't intentionally bump it. |
