Well done, anyway. I know the feeling. There's nothing like having the first person sign up to give you the incentive to get another few outgoing emails loaded in the autoresponder. Don't delay: the one who signed up today needs to hear from you today (and again tomorrow or the next day, etc. etc. ... it's all about continuity).

yeah, they will be getting at least 2 emails from me a week with links to my blog articles. I reckon that is enough unless I am launching a product where I may be posting every day.

Just keep in mind that it's a journey, not a destination...

You've already done more than most people - you've taken action... the next step is to keep setting and keeping your goals.

Focus on a method of driving traffic, and when you're set with that method... look to another one.

Start thinking about creating your own product... There are so many things you can do once you have your own product (that you can't without one) that it boggles the mind...

Yeah, all I am focusing on now is driving traffic, every article I publish will be shared like hell.

Well done. Keep your subs happy with quality content emails and then promote to them products that closely relate to the info emails.

Good job on getting your first email subscriber! Now your most important job is making regular contact with those people. Don't be like those marketers who ignore the list for months or years and then go begging back to that dead list hoping to breathe life into it again. Just start emailing out info as promised on a regular basis and really take time to talk back with your subscribers and ask for their feedback. Even asking the person on your list to RE or respond back to your emails is a good idea, so long as it gives them a way to directly talk with you.

Congrats Bro.

Getting your emails set up won't so bad. You can do small bit at a time. You can create one blog post and/or email per day. In a months time that's 30 emails you got from a small amount of work each day

I'm just starting my list building too. In fact I did an experiment a couple of weeks ago with a landing page hosted by aweber, and I just did some like 2 blog comments with a link to the landing page. I just checked yesterday and I have 4 subs and I'm converting at 36% LOL!

Wow, it is nice to see the little accomplishments and for people to Posts them.

I miss that.

We get so focused on figuring out how to do this and how to get this amount of Subscribers and the quality of this List or that List ..............well it is just refreshing to be a witness to seemingly small but actually very BIG accomplishment

cheers guys. on 2 subscribers now. I'm emailing my two blog posts out a week to them at the moment.

When it gets to say 50 people, i'll start doing surveys, getting feed back etc and thinking about products/services that would beneift them that I could put together and sell them.
