I was looking through this forum for Seattle groups and I saw a couple threads with some momentum and a lot of people were interested but it seems as if people were waiting for someone to take the lead on it so I'm offering to do that. How about we meet up on May 5th at 7:00 PM? Update: IT'S ON! Here is the address and we're on for May 5th at 7:00 PM: Starbucks (across the street from the gas station) 2424 33rd Ave W, Seattle, WA, United States I'm based in Magnolia so if people were interested in coming to the Starbucks over in Magnolia I know there is enough seating both outside / inside for at least 6 people I'm sure. Who is interested? Also, since my account is still new I can't respond to PM's just yet so just post here if you're interested and we'll try and work it out. Short Bio on Me: I run a bunch of different websites and blogs across various niches. I got fired from my job back in October 2009, but I was already earning more money from my websites than from my day job so I decided that was the kick in my pants that I needed to go full time and so far I haven't looked back. Let me know what you think, Chris Guthrie |

I'm working to get something going on a virtual basis (can't post but do a search from the menu) however I could see this kind of thing complementing that. What frequency did you have in mind? pt |

Hey guys, This one sounds pretty good. I definitely need to do some masterminding with other internet marketers. I have all the tools and resources for an online business. I just need to stay on track and keep focusing on building more income on the internet. I live in lower Queen Anne neighborhood, so we can meet at the Starbucks in Magnolia. Cheers, Michael |

I'm in. I'm in Ballard, so it looks like we're all pretty close to each other. Meeting in Magnolia's fine with me.

Hi Chris and everyone else who posted to this thread. Chris, thanks for stepping forward and suggesting that we get together. I'm in North Seattle but willing to meet in Magnolia. Would just need the street address for your local Starbucks. Looked it up online and five places popped up. ![]() I guess your good ju-ju is working since I've never looked in this section before today. Was trying to find out info about listing a WSO, when the word "local" caught my eye. Yay! May 5 at 7:00 p.m. works for me. I'll check back here for the outcome. Thanks, Candace |

Sweet - looks like we got enough people to have a group start up. Here is the address and we're on for May 5th at 7:00 PM: 3300 W. McGraw St. Seattle, WA 98199 You'll be able to recognize me based on my bio pic off to the left. I think for the beginning session we can just hang out, introduce each other and cover our background along with what we want to try and learn from meeting together / potential topics for future meet ups. I'll see you all Wednesday May 5th at 7:00 PM! EDIT: People with over 50 blog posts feel free to PM others that have responded to the thread letting everyone know that it's on. |

Hey Chris- I am in North Idaho, but the family loves to come to Seattle to play. If you are going to continue with meetings in the summer, would I be able to come over? You may laugh at someone willing to drive 6 hours to a meeting, but living on this farm is isolating in a bad way at times, and meeting living human beings that share my interests might help keep me sane. ![]() -Valorie |

Hey Chris, I'm a little confused now. I thought you said we were meeting at the Magnolia Starbucks, but I checked google maps for the address you gave us and it seems to be in Queen Anne. Either way's fine, but I just need clarification. Help! |

Alright. The mastermind was a pretty nice success. We had 3 people in total which based on the fact that there were only 5 possibilities (from what I saw) I think that's a pretty good turn out. What I ask is that if you see people on the Warrior forum based in/near Seattle that you send them a PM and tell them to check out this thread or message me. I believe with more planning the next event we could get at least 8 people or more. |

It was great meeting with you and Jan yesterday. I think we're off to a pretty good start even though it was just the 3 of us. I did learn quite a bit and was happy to be able to bounce some ideas back and forth. And I just signed up for your free ebook and wordpress theme. Great info and it got me exploring new ideas! Hopefully we can get a few more peeps from the puget sound area! Take care, Michael | |

Yes I will let you know for sure. I'm thinking bi monthly for now until we can get enough people coming. If we could get up to 30 people or so perhaps we could get a space to do it at perhaps and have speakers?

Alright, I think it's about time to start thinking about another meetup. What does everyone think about LATE June or mid July? I'm leaning towards mid July as I'd like to have enough time to get in touch with everyone that wants to make it. |

Both sound great. Let's say we meet-up late June if there are enough people already or mid July otherwise. |

Yeah, let's wait til mid-July and build the buzz. If we set a date now, that'll give people plenty of notice. Last time, I think about 5 or 6 people said they were coming, & we ended up with 3 (actually not bad for this type of event). So if we shoot for at least 10-15, maybe we can get 6 or 8 to show up. If you see Warriors from the Seattle area, spread the word... |

Hey Chris, I was unable to drum up enough interest in a weekly virtual mastermind so would love to join in mid-late July! Thanks, Paul |

In fact, as a service to the group since July is rolling along -- and not insisting Chris do EVERYthing, let me suggest 7 pm JULY 21 (maintaining the original Wednesday schedule). In looking for something more "central" than Magnolia to draw a bigger crowd, I phoned the Madison Starbucks which has an awesome meeting room for 10-15 people -- alas it was already reserved for that night. However when prompted, the gal suggested a new Starbucks concept where we can reserve the PATIO that seats 12, so let's give it a try. 15th Ave Coffee 328 15th Ave E (Capitol Hill) 206-323-1568 if you're lost! Chime in to RSVP, eh? |
