New Seattle Mastermind meet up planned for July 21st 7:00 PM The last one was a success and this one is going to be at a new more central location (thanks PPPPaul for finding the spot): 15th Ave Coffee is the name Address: 328 15th Avenue East Seattle, WA 98112-5103 (206) 323-1568We have room for at least 12 people which should be plenty enough.Short Bio on Me: I run a bunch of different websites and blogs across various niches. I got fired from my job back in October 2009, but I was already earning more money from my websites than from my day job so I decided that was the kick in my pants that I needed to go full time and so far I haven't looked back. My blog link is in my signature if you want to know more. Please PM your Seattle friends about this meetup, Chris Guthrie |

Do you tend to be shy or introverted speaking in group situations or when talking about your business 1:1? This is quite common, because nobody ever mentored you in this area. The Business Friendship course was designed to do just that, so you have more fun and financial fulfillment in meeting people -- try it today!

The event is free and open to any and all that want to come. So just feel free to show up - no need to sign up. Also: I just PM'd 10 people that had expressed interest in the next meet up so I expect to see some of them replying to this thread and showing up at the event as well. Looking forward to seeing you all on July 21st. Feel free to share a short bio if you'd like. Most of what I do is discussed on my blog if you want to know more about me. Thanks again to Paul for calling to reserve the spot |

I will be there! BIO: My name is Blair - I've been doing flash/web/video/graphic design for a few years and hold a JOB in corporate marketing. I just came across this website a few months ago and it has really opened my eyes to huge opportunities beyond just trading hours for dollars. I've been devouring all the info I possibly can, but would like to chat with you all about how to cut through the clutter and find a clear direction. I'm excited to meet everyone next week! -Blair |

I wish I could make it! I will be in California that day enjoying some time at Disneyland with the kids! Otherwise I would make the drive from the Tri-cities to make it. I hope it goes well, and I would be interested in attending the next one... Spencer |

Sounds like fun, and it's just up the street from where I live. I'll be there! Bio: I graduated with a masters degree in architecture in 2009. Due to the real estate meltdown, I can't get an architecture job and I'm too "over educated" to get any other sort of job. I started IM about 10 months ago, and I've been doing pretty good (in my opinion) doing affiliate marketing with Clickbank. I'd love to learn more about SEO, other means of traffic, branching out into other affiliate networks, and just meet some other cool IM'ers. |

I'll be there! Bio: Graduated with a B Eng Software Engineering in 2009, during my studies worked for some pretty well known tech companies then decided to make a living out of IM. Not sure if I will be able to make it, but I will try. I'm not much into affiliate marketing but I am always willing to learn something that can help produce more cash on the side of my seo job. I'll also drop a post on our seattle seo forum and a quick blog post to alert others in the area. |

I hope to make it, but I will be at the mercy of the bus schedules. BIO: Just turned 20. I played various card games semi professionally throughout high school, went to France just out of high school to compete in the world championship of the card game I was playing at the time. Got back from France but couldn't afford school, so I worked a terrible part time job. Fast-forward a year later my family got our house foreclosed. My mother and my stepfather had to move into an apartment with my two little brothers, however there wasn't room for me and my grandma, I was practically homeless for a month (luckily I had some good people take me in) and my grandmother had to move into a retirement home. Fortunately for me I had started dabbling in IM after reading T4HWW shortly before getting foreclosed. Even more fortunate I have an older brother who has done well and has recently purchased his first home. This is where I am living now. I recently quit my terrible job and just started writing articles for warriors, so far in the first month I've made almost as much money as my dead end job. I expect my earnings to go up the more clients I get, once I have enough funds (roughly 2k) I plan on running some adword and article/video campaigns. I luckily am already an expert (and I mean industry leading type of knowledge) in a very hot but not to competitive niche. I feel like meeting some people who have been there and done it will prove to my subconscious that what I'm trying to do can be done. |

It was great meeting you guys today: * Clayton, Chris, Caliban, Jimmy, Tri, Paul, Michael and Miranda, Andy, Blair and John. I think that's pretty much everyone. We had some awesome conversations, lots of nice tips and hints came up, and some good reality checks on some ideas. Seems that even some possible JVs were openend. Hope to see you again soon! Juan |

It was great to meet everyone last night. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in what I'm doing that I forget just how multi-faceted IM can really be. I vote for monthly. I'll take any chance I can get to talk about IM and drink beer at the same time! |

Very fun to meet up with everyone. We should try and come up with a new theme each time. Perhaps next we can get that little offset room so that we can present info etc?

Didn't Paul have that little room reserved? I know he migrated into that room early on. Also I think that possibly ending each meeting with some sort of goal to work on, and then the next meeting we could start by talking about what we did in the last month in order to achieve and accomplish that goal. |

Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the last meet up because I had to work, but I would be willing to host a future even at my house (near Ravenna park/ UW) if there is interest. Sounds like the last venue worked out pretty well but if people want we could break out the grill and have ourselves a mastermind bbq ...Thoughts? -Andrew |

Hi everyone, Looks like I missed the last meeting. I found this thread a little late. Can someone tell me if there is going to be another one? I would really like to talk with some people doing this and succeeding with it. I am pretty much a newbie, but have a million ideas on what I would like to do. I have bought countless ebooks on niche blogging and site flipping. I am very interested in both of those avenues and would like to get an idea of how to fully implement the tools I already have. It is just tough trying to ask questions after purchasing an ebook. The author either gets back to you in a good time frame, but never really answers your questions fully or takes them a while to get back to you or never does. It is very frustrating. Anyway, I am in a site flipping bootcamp right now and trying to learn the ropes. If I can get my site to flip...even for pennies (I know I shouldn't talk that way) then it will give me the confidence to keep going. Talking with local people will help out a lot, too! Thanks, Heidi |

Does this group meet up on a regular basis? If so, how often does it meet? I'm moving to Seattle (permanently) in September, and am settling down in the Belltown area (have already found a nice place there). This looks great, especially if the meet ups are typically held in the downtown area - it'd just be a short hop for me anywhere downtown.

OK I'll put in my two cents worth.. like to meet up with any Seattle (or surrounding areas) group. Been in marketing about 3 years, specializing in IM and List Building products. Would love to meet up with my fellow Warriors who live in my "back yard." Is there anything scheduled for October or later this year (2010)? Give me a buzz and I'll be there. :-) Daylynne Starr |
