1 year old website, 12+ million unique weekly visitors

According to architecturendesign.net/about-us-2/ page they're getting 12+ million unique weekly visitors.

Marketing method: post hundreds of "Architecture & Design" related pics daily on FB: facebook.com/ArchiDesiign/info

At 12M likes now they're increasing the number of likes by 1M every 2 weeks. That is the most successful FB page I ever seen.

The only thing I don"t get is...they post like 50+ posts daily, sometimes every 10mins...how on earth it"s not spammy for the subscribers? If I'd see a luxury house pic. etc. every 10 mins on my FB wall then I'd un-like the page straight away.

12+ million unique weekly visitors.... is big. You should monetize it. Think about how to monetize it.

I also notice on their facebook page that they often tag like 50 people in their posts of pictures... what's up with that?

            Hurts doesn't it?

Same thing happened to me back in 2012. The best advice is to move on and play with several techniques to see what works and once you find something stick to it.

Sorry, forgot to write the rest of my post!

Personally, I love seeing luxury houses, in fact that's mainly all I follow on twitter. These pages gain likes/follows very quickly because aside from a small few it's everybody's dream to live in places like these.

I probably share a pic or two with my friends every day.

    Viral marketing in action.

The strongest marketing method these days, and likely for the future. I spend 80% of my day, or thereabouts, engaged in it. Do what I do and look at their system to understand exactly how they make it work. There's a lot more going on there than meets the eye.

Any must know tips? And do you know why they always tag people in their pics? To get a better reach?

I found some truly great ideas on that particular page - just from clicking one entry on that blog. The site is INTERESTING and links to many other interesting sites.

For one thing - the content sharing or curation or conglomerate - or whatever you want to call it....features unique ideas on that site and link to unique sites and tutorials.

Honestly, I'm not at all impressed by their 12 million likes. But what I am impressed by is their 8 million "Talking About Us". People are liking, sharing and commenting on their content -- not a huge percentage of people per post; but still quite a few people on each post, and because they post so much it adds up.

I've noticed some other pages like this that have gone the post tons and tons per day route in the era of lower Facebook organic organic reach. Think about it this way: with FB reducing the amount of organic reach, people are less likely to find your posts spammy because even if you post quite a bit, they'll likely only see a few of those posts anyway. The challenge is (a) finding that much high quality content and (b) monetizing your traffic.

All that said, this strategy seems a lot like trying to game Google and I don't think it'll work in the long run. I image that eventually (if not sooner) FB will tweak their EdgeRank algorithm to put an end to this practice. But who can say for certain when it'll happen or if it even will?

For our part, we don't have the capacity to post this many times a day. Moreover, it's not what our users expect or want. Our strategy has always been to rely upon the quality of our posts, not the quantity of them. Our model is definitely something we need to tweak as FB makes its own changes, but I'm hesitant to abandon it completely in favor of a technique that seems (to me) destined to be short-lived.

In the meantime, I'll certainly have my eyes on these guys!

It think it has to do with the niche.

I would unlike a page i previously Liked because am getting more of new and exciting architectural design every minute, more pls.. Do you know what is spam? Spam is unsolicited. On facebook i don't think there is spam for this, you may even see post of pages you never liked because one of your friend liked it.

Same with Joke page, more and more pls.... I love em...

The post reach randomly to their subscriber, it doesn't mean that ALL the like-r will receive the post.
    Correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, if those likes artificial, I doubt it pretty much.
