Hello warriors! A very merry Christmas to all of you.
i have a steady question for all of internet marketing gurus here.
I signed up with hostgator affiliate program and created a discount coupon for 25% discount and $9.99 discount. But i want to market this coupon.
I have no list, i have no blog traffic.
How can i promote my coupon code.

Thanks in advance.

You don't have blog or any email list. Try to collect email list and create a blog. They are very important if you want to be successful in your business. Otherwise you can use social medias such as FB, G+, Pinterest, Niches related forum posting is very good for increasing sales.

    Merry Christmas you too.

I'd consider starting one or two "web hosting review" blogs or websites.. You can write up information and reviews about hostgator and link to them. Along with that, anytime hostgator runs a promotion you can add that onto the site as well. You could even take that and branch it into reviews for other hosting affiliate programs too.

That's the first thing i read in the OP, so I must first recommend you find another host to promote. I stand by this very strongly and adamantly considering that HG is no longer a good long term hosting option - never mind that their affiliate program is also sketchy.

There are some warriors who don't seem to have a problem with HG, but they are now the minority. Customers, including myself, have been leaving them in droves for the past few years due to greatly reduced quality customer service and performance on their servers.

Look up a non-EIG host (google this if you need to) so that you can pick an actual quality host that can deliver decent long term results.

Once you have found a decent host I would look to either creating a service or offer which in some way revolves around promoting your hosting offer passively, or rather invisibly, so it isn't a hard sell.

This is more of a "by the way" sort of sell for the customer. Like if you were to show customers how to create a simple website, you would tell them they need hosting first and thereby mention your link to them, perhaps giving them a discount.

There is one IM service provider I know who is largely off this forum who does several grand in residual commissions monthly because he created a service that sets up a special type of site for his clients. As his clients give him their details to setup the site this requires them to setup hosting if they don't already have one setup he recommends a handful of providers they can select, all of them his affiliate link. He also has them sign up for an autoresponder service under him. He literally have 3 forms of income from his one service.

So in that situation this dude is making a clear 4 figure passive monthly income from simply including affiliate links within his larger overall service.

That's the best situation to promote hosting that i have seen, where you're literally creating at least two income streams through one single process of action.

Since they've mentioned a lot already, here's my suggestion.
You go to other web hosting forums and try to be active for a while.

Then put your "coupon offers" on your signature.

Offer free website setup for local businesses in your area. When you get to the part where you tell them they'll need reliable hosting for their webstie share with them your Host Gator affiliate link.

You can go the free website route.

    Target:

    - Local Businesses
    - Markets

For example: you could offer affiliate blog designs for new marketers who are unable to design and setup high-end blogs. Your payment being an affiliate hosting signup.

What some agencies do is offer low-cost designs. You tend to get a more fruitful client, and one less likely to be a hassle.
