Did a search and could find much. About to release my free ecourse and wanted to know if anyone had tips that I could add to the ecourse that will build a stronger relationship to make people excited to buy when they see my offer at the end.

Thanks.

Try to use video and solve a problem of your audience in 3 minutes or less - they will be much more likely to buy your upsell and that's how you'll be able to grow a relationship!
    Good luck

Provide "surprising value" upfront and then they'll be hooked.
Most people expect "free" to mean "no good", but if you prove
them wrong, then they'll prove you right. You "free" stuff should
show them that you know your stuff.

Come off as caring. When I say come off as caring, I mean be caring for real. Honestly, "people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care". Don't come off as being spammy. Provide real quality content and they will follow you to the moon.

Always try to offer them something of great value, that will really help them. Make sure it's something you have done or used yourslef, or something that you would do or use yourself.

If you offer something that is real and of great value, then this does go a long way.

I don't know if you saw the TeeSpring Video, but you should watch it.

(You'll have to forward this video a bit to get to the TeeSpring founder...) He talked about how he had to "hold the hand" of his first customers and about how incredibly important it is to his company to PERSONALLY help them. Whether it's phone calling, or sending personal emails, the personal touch is everything!

I can see why this is working for him. Most businesses sell you something and then...ZOOM...they're gone. No honest, personal care. no follow ups, and NO MORE SALES EITHER.

You could easily (over time, of course) separate yourself from the rest of the herd by being very, very personable and caring.

    God Bless!

Give them exercises to do and make them leave comments on your videos and create human interaction... this will make them feel part of a community...

Well first, the idea of the free course and depending how you're positioning your offer is to build desire for your paid stuff. There are several ways to do that too with smart marketing.

    1. Is what Frank Kern called the missing link, you give them something that's valuable that can help your prospect or lead, and to get the rest they'll have to pay.

    2. Is you write a free e-course or offer about the BIG PROBLEM that your prospect faces and educate them about the problem. For instance, if you were selling a weight loss coaching, you might educate your prospect the dangers of being over weight and the types of serious health issues they might face if they don't do something about it, then at the end you offer your paid stuff.

These are just two methods. Of course, when you do this, you're being ethical and cool about everything. My two cents.

Make sure it is good enough that they'll finish the course. So naturally it should be of a very high quality, something comparable to a paid course you'll release.

I've subscribed to lists before and the free offer was so bad, offered nothing they promised, didn't hook me in so I'll stay with the course, that I abandoned then after reading a few pages or watching a couple videos. So, I never got to the end where they make offer their paid product (usually something that explains the method in greater detail).

I'm not saying you should give them everything, but give them enough to keep them hooked.

For example, I have a funnel in a non-IM niche, where I offer them 7 ways to do solve their problem, and I keep that promise. The back end product is something that gives them a complete system to do the same, so it converts well, but if they used the free offer alone, they'll still have learned something.

I'm creating a new funnel where I'm offering my subscribers a 7 day course on what they want to learn, and at the end of the 7 days, I'll offer them an option to get my paid course to continue learning more. This way, they'll stay with me, wait for my emails even though its just a free course, and I've built massive trust with them that they'll have no problem buying my paid course.

There are plenty of methods to do the same, but the base of everything is to offer them something so good in your free offer that they'll think they HAVE to buy your free course because they reason it's going to be even better. So add whatever you need to add to your free course achieve that goal.

Well for this you should have good information throughout the the course so people can stay with your course. You can add more videos and also Webinar is good option for you to build a good relationship with your audience.
