Drive paid traffic to your opt-in page where you give away something that the reader considers valuable enough to sign up for.

As to which paid traffic to use... that depends on you and your targeted audience.

Some people could build their list pretty quickly using Facebook Ads, for others, maybe solo ads, for others, maybe PPC. The point is, if you want quick traffic, then it's paid traffic.

As to how well that traffic converts depends on all sorts of factors. The copy. The offer. How targeted the traffic is...

There are sooo many ways to build a list. One of the easiest ways is to provide a really good guest post for a website that is already successful in your niche. With some luck, they will link to your site or squeeze page and BAM, you just built yourself a list with a few blog posts.

There are lots and lots of ways to build your list... thing is, unless you use paid traffic, you're at the mercy of how fast people share your content.

Ok ok, before you report me to the moderators.... the fastest way to build your list in ANY niche is Pay per click advertising (PPC).

Some will say solo ads. That's fine - if it's legit and you can find people in your niche who offers some. Or you could simply make a proposition with a site owner for a JV.

With PPC, you can reach anybody, since alot of people use search engines to start their web browsing. Start off with Adwords and Bing Ads, then test Facebook.

The fastest way to build a list is to get targeted, fresh, quality traffic to a good landing page.
You have to have both.

These days, you can get great landing pages very quickly with little skills by using one of the services like lead pages or click funnels.

As for targeted, fresh, high quality traffic, the best is to get it yourself from advertising on Facebook but it can be costly.

There are several ways to create a good list, try creating a landing page for some ebook, a highly sought product or some guide. Directs traffic to that page with an adwords campaign.

If you have the time, organic will bring you better clients. If not, either try wholesale lists or build your own with a good landing page and guest posts.

I've had good results, but these are targeted lists. If they're too general, you tend not to convert as much.

I think you're asking the wrong question...or at least an incomplete question.

You can build a shi#@y list lightening fast, but it won't do you much good.

You should be focusing on building a PROFITABLE list...not just building a fast list.

I personally do not like to put the word fast when it comes to generating quality leads, but for that matter offering something in an opt-in page would build a list quite fast but then what the list is for is the issue. Who you wanna attract and how you wanna use the list?
