What's the contact form made from?

I think it looks good. Now just add the slide down email capture and the pop-up "please don't leave yet" and you'll be done!

Yup, just Wordpress. Took a helluva long time though because I kept having to tweak the html to get it just right.

The contact form is a plug-in called Easy Contact. You install it and then simply put [easy contact] in the html editor of your Contact page and it pulls in the entire form. Easy peasy!

thanks, I'm using CForms now, but it's too much trouble upgrading all the time and yours looks better with Captcha also.

I think it looks absolutely great, Lisa.

Does that count as a "critique"?

In case it doesn't, I offer three further observations:-

1. You need at least one clear blank line between each of those 4 little paragraphs starting with "Custom-Designed Niche Blog These" and ending with "12 - 25 Quality PLR Articles"

2. There are really too many exclamation-points

3. Please don't use a "please don't leave yet" or equivalent pop-up: in my opinion it would ruin a great site and cost you business as well

That site is not right. Missing block on the top next to menu. That sidebar is bad news. Menu in the wrong place and I see you used artisteer. I am sure artisteer can do better than than. No header. Your text don't allign

As you selling WP themes you wont make with this sales page as you competing with thousands of free WP theme site that looks wonderful compared to yours.

They say don't judge a book by it's cover but this wont work here as the cover is what you sell and I wont buy

I was kind of kidding about the please don't leave popup.

I hate them but....

People who use them seem to be the ones making a lot more money than me at this.

Nope, I asked for it! Not saying I agree with you 100% so I have a few questions backatcha.

Your center pitch area is to small and make the site look unbalanced.
I you would show what you offer in a bigger pic in the middle it will flow with the page.

That is not a header but just a font you used. You are trying to sell a theme here and if I am looking for premium themes this give the impression
of what you offer. Use one of your themes to pitch you product

Where should the menu be? Isn't that a personal preference?

Menus work better under the banner and not on the top as it is more practical no personal preference

Drop the side bar and make the page same width all the way as that will also format you text layout better. Also format you text using html and it will look better and you will have better control. Use a this free plugin ø Raw HTML Plugin for WordPress | W-Shadow.com ø to insert raw html and it will show perfect

I agree with what one poster said about the images in the sidebar. They distract from the page. As far as the menu being above the header...well, to each his own, I like it on top. I'd probably darken it.

Anyway, I was working on another installment of my blog header makeovers when I read your post and decided to do one on your site header. I include expalnations of what I think works and what doesn't from a designer perspective.

I'm guessing you didn't like the critique or the design I made for you, so I removed the link.

Y'know for your target audience (bloggers and IM webmasters) this approach
could convert very well. I like the way you set it up. It still has the a blog
feeling and the copy is well written too!

I think this is a more effective approach for marketing "Niche Blog Templates"
Not so much of a critique but I wish you good luck. The next thing to do
is to test and come back with the results.

Also I noticed you have the Silver and Membership posts password protected?
Are you using a plugin for that? I'd be interested to know how that works

Hi,

First I like the general feel of the site it looks quite good. But there is a couple of things I would change or test.

Your optin box over on the right there doesn't really stand out and doesn't tell me why I should give you my email address!

Put it in the header area on the right and make a bit more of a deal about it. Give away one of the niche blogs in a box, show them how to make money with it in a responder course. So that they can see the value in the product and the quality of it.

Have one link at the top left members login and one for contact.

Drop the padding at the top of the page, wasted space.

Have the sample template images similar to those shown above in the sample header over on the left but I would do it a little different more web2.0 styley...

Drop the right margin and have some of those sample images in the copy.

The copy I like as I detest them long sales letters

Only thing I would change is the padding around it and test some different color text for the important bits.

Please take that as constructive as I said that is just what I would try, it's just a bit too busy. If you want any help with it let me know.

	Alexa Smith ... ... writes many things that snap, crackle and pop, but not too many signature-files.
