Who Won the 30-Day Article Marketing Challenge?

Hi Warriors!

We can let the mammoth 30-day article marketing challenge thread die now - poor thing was exhausted, wasn't it? It worked hard May it RIP and I'm sure many will be glad to see it gone.

I went through to find a winner and it boiled down to two front-runners. Some of the things I judged on were regular updates, article quality, and results.

I can't just choose one when two people burned up the article marketing track like there was no tomorrow!

Congratulations to Asher and Peggy Baron!

Both of you posted continually, which was proof that you were doing what this challenge was meant to do - spur us all on to be proactive with our usually lazy article marketing efforts!

I also deeply appreciated that you both left detailed thoughtful results and your attitudes were stellar - unlike my own which got stinky when I got bored. Lol

Both Asher and Peggy win the following from me:

1.) A custom made Squidoo lens by me.

2.) A custom made Hub Page (or the content for it if you don't want me logging into your account)

3.) $100 worth of PLR from my PLR Mini Mart

4.) 5 Custom articles to give you a much-needed break in the article marketing department.

5.) $50 via PayPal

I appreciate everyone participating and supporting the contest - it was an eye opener! I didn't succeed at ALL with affiliate sales, but I did better with my own site traffic and conversions.

Asher and Peggy, PM on the way so I can build everything for you and send you your $50 each!

Tiff

P.S. If anyone wants some encouragement in the article marketing arena, I suggest you go to Peggy and Asher's blogs and read their progress.

Congrats to the winners and everybody who participated.

Even though I wasn't in the challenge, I had a kick butt article marketing
month. I sold 20 different affiliate products earning a total of $3,729.63.

And that's in addition to my own stuff.

I turned a lousy end of September into a killer October and the month
    isn't even over.

Tiff, you did a great thing by running this. You truly helped the members
    here a great deal.

    My hat's off to you.

Steve, did you make that money from the articles that you submitted only within the month of September?

        Hi Michael:

No, that's tracking from the day the article marketing challenge started to
        when Tiff announced the winners.

I was tracking myself for personal reasons to see how well I did. It wasn't
my best month, but these have been very difficult times for me with the
financial crisis. As you can see, 20 products comes out to about $6 per day
per product. That is NOT very good. I usually average close to $10 a day or,
        if you do the math...

        10 x 20 x 30 = $6,000

Add that to what I make for my own stuff and it comes out to about
        $11,500 a month.

That's what I have been averaging this year. I have already broken last
year's income with 2 months left to go so I'm not complaining, but lately
things have been very slow, relatively speaking.

For example, in August, I did $13,270.42

In September, I only did $10,207.20

This month will be a little better, but not by much.

I'm hoping things improve after the elections, otherwise next year I'm going
to have to cut down on the spending a little.

Thanks for the great info Steven.

I've noticed an income impact as well, but at least you're moving forward. I'm bringing in about 12% less the 2nd quater of this year when compared to the 2nd quater of last year. However, I haven't really gone into high-gear with anything new this year yet, either.

    We won? We WON! WOO!

    Woo hoo~

Thanks a TON Tiffany, the challenge that you started really helped
me to stay on track. I just had one goal in mind and that's to submit
    one article a day.

Now that this challenge is over - I'm going to have to "graduate" from
this challenge and start my own into the article marketing realm.
This has been an extremely beneficial challenge in so many ways.

Thanks again Tiffany. Couldn't have done it without you

Congrats man, you should be very proud of what you've accomplished.

Now go out and treat yourself to a tart or something.

        Thanks Steven!

A compliment from you is like I was shaking hands with a mayor
(though mayors are almost non-existent in Singapore) because
you're authority in article marketing! Thanks again.

Wish I could but it's 2:17AM right now where I'm typing this so
I'll be treating myself to 6 hours of sleep before waking up to
work and THEN, I'll get a tart
