Whats your ezinearticle marketing tips?

What do you usually do to boost your ezinearticles so that they get a high spot in google?
I´ve observed that my articles get some good traffic the first days its been published (since its featured extra on ezinearticles in the beginning), but then it get less and less visits, and perhaps this is to been expected?

What can you do to keep the traffic flow steady?

I try to do this to get links and hopefully get good rankings in google:

*social bookmarkmaking for each article about a weeks after its been published.
*rss submit the feed from my author page ( a tips from a fellow warrior )

Whats your strategies to get as much visitors from google as possible?

What is the most important steps that I should not miss.

Sincerely
Karl

i have found that a shorter article tend to leave the reader wanting more, getting more clickthroughs to the site.

the EZA minimum is 250 words. i have had best results ith articles of less than 300 words. this may not be true for every niche, but it worked for me.

I would go Viral with my articles, let me explain how.
Gather all your articles and bunch them together in
a zip file. Make sure you write the article in Word
    and in text pad.

    Then upload to your server.

Make sure your articles are no bigger than
400 to 600 words and if they are make them
go to your website to pick up part 2 of the
    article.

Also make sure you have an optin page like
i have at the url in my sig line.

Then contact FREE PLR DIRECTORIES by email
ask them to give these articles to all that want
    them.

This one technique will help you get Viral with
your articles. Also it will help level out the
    traffic your losing.

focus on your resource box - you need to make them want to click on the link to get the end of the story. Previously, I had a very professional looking resource box, outlining the credentials of the author etc. However, I found this didn't convert to clicks, so I changed it to a more copy written style. Your resource box should identify the problem and offer the solution by clicking on your link. I get much higher click thru's this way..

Don't forget you can also submit the RSS feed from most of your bookmarking websites as well.

      1. Take a keyword from my research and check google for EZA that
are already ranked on the 1st page. I look for articles that
are ranked above the fold typically.

      2. Double the competition for the keyword in Google.

      3. If an article that's targeting the same keyword is ranked
in Google within the first 1-4 spots(above the fold), I will
swipe that article, check keyword density of that article, and
then re-write it. Make sure to add your own copywriting style.
DON'T PLAGIARIZE. Also, playing around with the keyword density
helps. I use software to rewrite all my articles(Power Article
Writer), but if you're a fast writer, you can do it by hand.

      4. After I publish my version to EZA, I will go and generate
backlinks to my article. Social Bookmarking, and other Web 2.0
properties work great. Most people don't take the extra step
to generate backlinks to their articles, so it's pretty easy
to get my article out-ranking the other pretty damn fast.

This strategy works for me almost all the time.

Short and valuable articles produce the best.
Have an article that entices readers to get to the resource box.
        Write a compelling resource box.

I just finished reading this thread that may be of interest to you.

If you follow it step by step you should see some success with your article marketing. The thing is to not be a one trick pony where you get a mass of hits for the first 24 to 48 hours after releasing your articles but rather longevity where you continue to get a stream of constant traffic via the search engines for the longterm.
