articlesbase.com is rocking

With a growth of +534.9% articlesbase.com has become a very interesting article article directory to submit your articles to.

Unfortunately the backlinks are nofollow but since the directory can show up with quite some traffic now it's too attractive to neglect.

Yeah if now they would only fix their resource box html .. A non-clickable link means nothing and can't click on a link when the system has the resource box links messed up..

Not only that, ArticleBase links in the resource box are "NoFollow" which means you get no PR boost with one way backlinks which is why I have stopped using them altogether.

No use in submitting articles if -

      no clickable links
      no backlinks boost

we are just increasing their site content, so they can be benefited from it?

There is another side benefit you're not thinking about: Getting the article exposed so someone picks it up and runs with it for you, expanding your exposure.

Yeah and what gets me is I emailed them twice now about the links being messed up and no reply as of yet.. Hmmm, maybe it was done on purpose. It only seems to effect the new articles posted not older ones.

Seriously thinking about dropping them myself..

It's a shame since it really is a nice website.

Wow, that really stinks. I have them checked off in APR, so I'm not wasting too much time, though.

What do you mean by non-clickable links? The links work fine.

Re nofollow: That's important if you do it for SEO purposes only (although the links still count in some cases). However, they get a lot more traffic now. Just compare the traffic numbers with other popular article directories. You profit from that traffic, no matter if your links are dofollow or not.

    Cheers,

I have 8 articles that I have re-submitted and asked them to fix thier broken html in the resource box.. All 8 articles are newer articles and the html for the links you can not click because they have something screwed up in the html..

The html in my resource box is correct but after published and approved it is broken. And trust me I know html I am a website developer of 15+ years so I know it's not my issue.
