You could write an article about how to create unique products using PLR products and then offer a free report about it-including your links, of course.
I'm pretty sure that would get by the filters without breaking any of their "rules."

Are you sure? I just went there and searched for PLR and found tons of articles about the subject!

Oh, rats! I hadn't thought of that, well...
There ARE other directories to try that may not be
so strict.
But, you CAN see why Christopher Knight doesn't want to promote
PLR. It involves the integrity of the site.
Personally, I LOVE PLR when it's used right. But, that's the problem.
We know some people just don't understand that PLR should be changed
enough so that the ideas are still there without the duplication.

Did you know that you can go to TweetGrid - by jazzychad and search for
PLR? You can see if the topic is popular. It is! There's lots of people tweeting about it. Must be a popular topic.
Why not join them with your offer?

That's the problem with having such a huge site. The smaller directories allow it because they have the facilities to keep most of the bad PLR out, but when you get 400 million articles submitted every day, you have to go a few steps further and, in this case, ban anything related.

Well,
I am all for brainstorming.
I have tried to think of some ways and the only thing I can
agree with is kristisayles's suggestion but that only puts another
step in front of the reader to make it to my actual product.

Any more ideas?

Hey E.J.,

Couldn't you just send the article traffic to a general squeeze page on making money with articles first? You know, give your subscribes a free ebook on all the different ways to make money with content, explain that your system is the best, and provide the links to your membership site.

Sounds like that might work. Weeds out tire-kickers and focuses your prospects on your solution.

This is good stuff.
I will have to check into it.
the main problem is that if the link takes them to anything that even
remotely resembles plr or has any reference to plr at all
the article is rejected.

As far as ezine articles goes, I don't think there is a possibility
for someone in my profession.

I think that Jeff and kristisayles have said it.
Besides, this way, I may be able to create more subscribers in the process.

we can't take your prospects straight to our sales copy.
Your setup looks fine but
I wonder;
If I just got finished reading a big article and I am interested enough to click on the BIO link
to learn more about a target product that is associated with that article, I am going to be
looking for a tangible substance but now all I see is another article that I have to read,
well, I may loose interest and not look at any advertisements before I click away.
At lease with a sales copy, I can begin to read about something that is going to solve my problem.

Have you tracked to see how many potential prospects you have lost due to EZA's rules?

No,huh ? Well, thought I'd add a little levity to the thread.

Seriously though, I'd go with a blog on PLR (that is not named PLR), that directs customers back to your site.

If you notice there is a huge Ad on the right side though.. Now the solution I sent you remember will also incrase you rankings in the search engines because of additional link building.

So does it effect me or my business, no way .. If anything it actually helps.. EZA is the only one to get around, remember there are many other great article directories that do not have these silly rules like EZA.

Let's take that word "spinner" for instance. EZA seems to be so scared of the word but a few facts they refuse to admit.

1. Many of the authors in EZA has spun articles, I do not spin mine for EZA but fact is many do.

2. spinning articles has been going on for well over 10 years, how can I make that claim ? Simple many people mis-understand what spinning means and thus they have a pre-set judgement on what it is. Any author that submit different versions of their articles are spinning them. Even those that outright claim they hate spinners. Why can I say this, because if they change the title, change the summary or the body, or the resource box then they are in-fact spinning that article into a slightly different one. It does not matter if they did it by hand, with crap software, or with a real spinner.

If I took that word spinner and used the word modified instead then EZA would not have an issue. Why ? Because like many they have a pre-set mind that spinners are evil. Which could not be more false...

Trust me the solution I sent to you will work even better to your benefit because of the increase in awareness and rankings from the search engines. Make sure everything is seo'ed and you use proper keywords..

I like the suggestion to develop and general site on making money online with an optin and free gift. Them promote the PLR site to your list. I own an offline business that has 2 different websites. Between the two sites and some articles in directories, I basically own Google, Yahoo and MSN. I couldn't do that with only one site.

So, build another site because you can't leave Ezinearticles out of your marking plan.

I know my solution is not posted here, I actually PM'd it to E.J. because of the fact that I did not want the bully squad accusing me of self promotion when in-fact I am just trying to help someone out that asked for help.

The solution I sent E.J. still includes EZA.. It's just a clever way around them while boosting your rankings and awareness at the same time.
