How to FORCE Yourself To Succeed

I see so many people everyday, talking about how the would like to enjoy abudance, freedom, and a lifestyle where they can come and go as they please. I know many many people that would love to have a life of absolute freedom. HOWEVER... There is a difference from someone who "wants it" and somebody who does whatever it takes to be successful (ethically). Although everyone wants success, not everybody is able to achieve it.

Most people live in a level of "comfort" where they get paid just enough to live in a nice house and drive a nice car around. I'm talking about people earning a salary and they have no reason to want to go after something better. Than there are people from the opposite world that isn't comfort, some of these people include Oprah, Jay Z (rapper), motivational speakers like Les Brown or Eric Thomas and people who came from absolutely NOTHING! The difference between some people that came from nothing and became something is because they have the HUNGER for success, they do NOT want to be living in hell there whole lives, they want better!

What I am talking about is HUNGER, if you know what it's like to not eat an entire day, you are hungry. It's the same with success, if you are comfortable at some job that pays you salary and just enough to be what is considered middle class you probably won't have HUNGER as compared to somebody that is coming from much worse circumstances. That hunger will develop into a BURNING DESIRE as mentioned by Napoleon Hill. And with your circumstances you facing today, you do what is necessary for CHANGE not because you want to but because you have no other choice, and when you have that hunger for success, where ALL you want to do is be successful, you WILL succeed. It all starts with a BURNING DESIRE if you don't have it, you will never be able to succeed at any change. You can't "kind of " want it, you go to REALLY want it.

If it takes you changes your lifestyle habits, if it takes you cutting off all your friends, and negative family, if it takes you changing your mindset 120% than do it!. If it takes you going to the gym everyday to get motivated, than do it! Do whatever you can with what you are given each and everyday. Without a HUNGER however you won't be willing to go the EXTRA mile to be successful , you'll be just like everybody else, full of excuses. If you've ever been rock bottom during life, you know how much it sucks. Do you want to live your world full of excuses or do you want to take responsibility? Do you feel you deserve better? If so, the good news it is possible to change your life, but in order for that to happen you must first make the decision you want to CHANGE your life every single day you wake up. Go the extra mile , take that extra step, and NEVER GIVE UP no matter how hard!

Do NOT , I repeat, DO NOT sit and wait for anybody to do anything for you because it won't ever happen! Nothing will fall on your lap! You've got to go and build your own dream. You're desire for success must be bigger than any obstacles you are facing. You have got to be so sick and tired of how things are going for you!

How bad do you want it?
#force #succeed

the trauma from those periods of not having food to eat cause a majority of people to hang on to that job when they have it ..and many cycle from having nothing to having just enough ..

from my experience currently being at the point of having nothing .. but having that be a massive improvement of being nearly disable physically and mentally and deep in debt for someone with very little income ..

i have never been hungry in my belly ..but that is not the kind of hunger that drives those people .. who come from nothing and desperate situations .

when life started you off in a pile of shit..and fed you failure , hopelessness and low expectations ..and everything told you this was all you could expect for life ..and you where the very people used to keep those people hanging onto their jobs ..

when your liv=fe is a prison of failure ,dissapointment , and missery. and then you taste a bit of success and a little bit more ..and a little bit more ..and then seeds of a vision for a n=better life get planted in your head .. you build upon smal success after small success ..growing the success and feeding the vision

when you have had nothing and when you have had to figure out on your own how to start having stuff ..just enough will not do ..not do one bit ..why stop there ..

success is not something that is out there to be chased ..it is onlt something that can start inside then be built outside day by day .. small success by small success

ok ok honestly ..it is hunger in my case as i want to live where i can own land to grow my own food or most of it ..so yeah in my case it is about hunger ..

it is really not about how bad you want it ....it is about doing what you need to do each day to get it .

we can't have it all ..but what we do get should be the best of what we can get ..that works for us .

Agreed, the first step into changing your current circumstances is making a commitment that you will do whatever it takes to make a change. The change in everyday habits and your everyday mind will contribute to your overall success. Knowing deep down your true worth despite where you are currently at in life is what really counts. Don't let your current challenges dictate where you will be in the next few years, let your obstacles motivate you to keep pushing everyday towards your dreams and never lose hope that there is a brighter day ahead, have faith.

success is something you creat not something you achieve .. buy overcoming or getting through the current challenges ..you create success today ..

how you handel the challenges today will dictate how your life will be tomorrow and the next day..

success is the process of overcoming or seeking out new challenges .. failure comes from withering away from challenges ..or hiding from them and repeating the same mistakes over and over

Success is taking no for an answer, that you will not settle for less, that you will not wait around and have something handed to you. Success is despite getting burned time and time again and failing over and over that you refuse to lose that you will keep pushing no matter what because you are in it to win it! Success is taking responsibility for your life. Success is believing in yourself despite what others think! You create your reality.

because actual success is different for everyone ..because our genetic make up are different and each of us has a different path ..

we all have our challenges and problems ..we grow as we face these problem and find solutions that work for us ..

where you succeed you will face increasingly greater challenges and more complex problems .. where you fail you will repeat the same challenges over and over .

we may create our reality ..but we do it with either intent or by default ..

if we want to force ourselves to succeed ..we have to force ourselves to solve our current problems and break through to bigger problems and challenges .

to many people at least in the US have traded the idea of freedom for the comfort of being safe ..a farm animal is kept very safe until the day of slaughter ..or while it is producing eggs milk and cloth ..

if you are being kept safe by others it is because your their farm animal

back to success we creat our own success .it really cannot be given to us we need to build it brick by brick

Agree. Having a burning desire and making it definite is the first step. Then comes faith and action.

First of All, Your Health. "Good" people around you who would support you even if you ended up being a pourpor. To Say, I want to make a million or two is definitely the right attitude to having to force yourself into being successful.

the real meaning of a comfort zone has nothing to do with real comfort .. and everything to do with ..tolerance for the problems they have ..

because they have these problems the people around them have similar problem they know people with much worse problems ..so there is no real push to do anything about the problems ..

with this most spiritual practices and religions .. made being tolerant of suffering a virtue ..

when you chose to drop the mantel of suffering .. that is when you begin to force yourself on the path of "success " because the world we live in offers so many options for both a better life with much less or no suffering.. and endless menue of ways to suffer just as much as we do now .. or even at times much greater suffering ..

the environment in your mind, in your body, and that surround you.. are critical factors ..

unlike the seed cast by a farmer ..if you fall between the rocks ..you can evenually uproot yourself and move to richer healthier soil

    Agree.

People don't feel motivated or lack discipline or procrastinate because they don't really want to achieve the goal. If you have a burning desire YOU WILL take action.

Stop reading books on time management. The problem is not managing your time. It's managing your priorities. If I put a gun to your head and tell you that you need to do something. You wouldn't go and read some self help books and try to get motivated. You would simply do it.

That's the power of a burning desire.

    Cheers,

    Hi Matthew,

    Cool share!

I'd add, use Power, not Force. Struggle will occur but really, struggling for years ain't necessary.

I figured it out; I tried to work like an animal and expected human results.

When I worked like a human, using my mind, thinking, being effective, and patient, and vibing high, I began to use true Power, and naturally I saw more success, suffered through less stress and fell in love with my gig online.

If you know why you want to succeed and link the reason to being free you're golden.

    You're unstoppable.

For me, I always loved being free more than I feared doing uncomfortable stuff, so I made it to paradise, blogging from Bali, and Fiji, and Costa Rica, for months at a time.

7 years ago this life would have been impossible, but I changed things around by making freeing but uncomfortable decisions daily.

    Thanks Matt!

    Tweeting from Bali.

I agree, some people need to burn their bridges. Make it a do or die situation. Here is a great example, picture yourself sitting in your couch watching some T.V.

Then all of a sudden you smell and see smoke coming from your kitchen. What happens? You get up immediately jump into action and figure out why you smell and see smoke. You then see fire blazing in your kitchen and you quickly go for the fire extinguisher and put out the fire.

It doesn't matter if your favorite tv show was running, if you smell and see smoke in your house you will immediately take action to get rid of the fire. Why? Because if you don't, your house could burn down.

That is the power of a do or die situation. If you want to force success, you need to find a way to make it so that it's a "sink or swim" situation. Quit your job, make a financially risky bet with a friend who will keep you accountable, or buy an expensive coaching program that will force you to take action.

If you really want to be successful you have to be willing to do whatever it takes.

Interesting post. Question back to the warrior community. What about all the people that don't realize their not living to their full potential? The ones that are satisfied and comfortable, and yet do not do a job that fits their true purpose or passion.

I've been thinking a lot lately, so many of the stories we hear about success took a "slap in the face" to give that person a burning desire to change their life. What about the rest? What "slap in the face" needs to be done so that people can find true meaning and a burning desire to live out their true purpose...

Fear of hunger is what did it for me. I moved from The States to Australia in 2004. After a year I still could not find employment and I was down to just $200.00 in savings.

I had my digital camera and knew how the national studios I photographed for back in the States got all the business they wanted by using telemarketers. But I was always afraid to pick up the phone and make cold calls.

The fear of hunger and becoming homeless forced me to overcome my fear.

Now whenever I want more money I just pick up the phone to dial and smile!

One problem however is I became ill for several months and could not work from my hospital bed so my income stopped during that time while my savings shrank again.

Now that I'm back on my feet I only do photography whenever I want to make quick income or just for fun. Anymore I mostly focus on building passive residual income that will keep on rolling in even after I'm gone.

Everybody here has great replies. Not only do your current set backs and obstacles have to motivate you, but sometimes you have no other choice where success is your only option. Why do you think you hear so many stories of people on the verge of being bankrupt or living out of there car? Sometimes in life we are dealt a bad hand of cards and that is what it takes to get our ass into gear. It is up to us to decide to play the victim or do something about it! We all have choices to make each day, and responsibilities. It is up to us to decide if we want to continue heading down a dead end path or find an alternative. That's the fork in the road for you, you decide.
