While Wordpress takes a little longer to master I prefer it over Blogger because I have had two blogs shot down by Blogger. It does not seem to be any logic to why they are shut down, it seems to be...

I would use Wordpress. I have had Google shut down Blogger sites that I have had just on a whim. I got Google to re-approve them but it took some time.
