All good points except for the last bit. Wordpress will not allow you create duplicate URLs is you are using /%postname%/. The "postname" variable is equivalent to the "post slug" you can set when...

I use /%postname%/ as well. This uses the "post slug" as the URL and Wordpress will not allow 2 posts to have the same slug, so you'll never have an issue with 2 posts having the same name. WP...
