Quinstreet not paying full Commissions

I noticed my payment from Quinstreet was significantly lower than what their reporting is showing, is anyone else seeing this?

The commission reconciliation report has always been perfectly accurate and my payments have always been exactly as reported, but this month it's off by about 20%.

I hope they aren't in trouble financially as I use them exclusively for lead sales.

As a follow up to Friday's response, please accept my apologies; a software update temporarily caused an issue in payment reporting. Payments continue to be made in accordance with the standard QuinStreet publisher agreement. If you are a QuinStreet publisher and need assistance please contact us directly at edupubhelp@quinstreet.com.

    JD,

I know the feeling, I've been where you are too. Once you understand what's going on, you simply have to live with the reality:

The QS reports are not actual earnings. It usually takes 30-45 days to reconcile the REAL leads from the total. Many times people use fake names, bad phone numbers or wrong email addresses, etc. when they complete the lead form. Simply completing the lead form shows up as income in your QS dashboard. Then they comb through all the leads and remove the bad ones. This can be found in the "commission reconciliation" section of the reports tab in your publisher dashboard.

So, your reports may look like this:

    Gross Commission - $1,500
    Adjusted Commission - ($300)
    Net Commission - $1,200

This should happen every month. My adjustments typically range from 15-23%

I'm assuming the OP had the same issues that I did where we were paid out less than the net commission amount. As qsaffiliate said there was a software issue that reported the wrong commission amounts during the month of August so the net commission was adjusted after the payments were made. This was compounded by a group of schools not paying quinstreet for their leads so this amount was also withheld from payouts. I was told that I'll get paid once quinstreet gets paid...
