Neverblue Testing & Tracking

I don't understand how to set up my aff-link with Neverblue network.

The "Testing & Tracking" tab contains some form fields such as "Test link", Postback URL(Server Pixel), Postback Delay(ms) and Pixel HTML.

I got my aff-link in this format: http://bpcvk.com/?a=XXXXXX&c=XXXXXXX&m=3&s1=.

Should I put this link into the "Test Link" field? What is postback url and delay?

For pixel html, I think I need to input something like <img src="http://bpcvk.com/?a=XXXXXX&c=XXXXXXX&m=3&s1=" width="1" height="1" border="0" />

Please give me some advise.

If my question sounds too trivial to you, I am sorry.

Thank you for your time.

  • Are you using tracking software for your campaigns? If not you most likely don't need to do anything with that section. From what I can see, you are not using tracking software.

The test link ensures that Neverblue is able to see and track clicks from your tracking link. Since you are currently using your actual link fro neverblue, there's no need to test it.

Same with the postback url spot. Most tracking software have postback urls that are used to inform the tracking software that a conversion has occurred. The delay field is used to indicate how long after a conversion happens before a notification is sent to the tracking software. So once again without using tracking software you can safely ignore this.

For the pixel html, this is also mainly used for 3rd party conversion tracking. eg from your tracking software or your traffic source. The pixel in your post will not work and will actually mess up your numbers, because you just used your affiliate link as the image src.

If you were using tacking software, you would have an image, javascript, or iframe pixel that you could place here. This will update conversions in your tracking software in real-time. You can also us this spot for conversion pixels you get from your traffic source such as adwords, or facebook ads etc.

Thank you for your post. Yes, I am not using any tracking software. But, I have used neverblue affiliate links in some campaigns with url redirections, but conversions do not happen. I have used incent traffic and users successfully clicked the submit buttons. Neverblue can successfully track my links, but I do not see any conversions happening. I was under the impression that it has to do something with pixels.

Is it possible that people might just not be completing the offers?

Let me start by saying that I do not claim to be some super affiliate marketer, I have only been in this business for about 2 years. I have been with NeverBlue for a little over one year now, and have set up sites or pages, paid for traffic and never have been credited for one single conversion. I am currently scheduled for another tele conference with them to straighten out their stuff. I have already proved to them in the past many times that I have had numerous conversions even though I was not credited for them.

The bottom line is I would be very wary of posting any of NeverBlue's offers until they fix their stuff. Over the last week or so, after having been dormant with them for a few months due to this problem, I was assured the tracking links for a toolbar were up and working fine and that NeverBlue had finally worked out all the bugs in their tracking system. So, I set up a page and put an offer on it, got good paid traffic and yet no conversions showing. However, I did run my own little test and two of my friends in different parts of the United States downloaded the toolbar and sent me screen shot proof of the completion. Still no conversions showing on my end.

I find it strange that I have had something similar, though on a much small scale, happen with two other CPA companies, and yet both of these companies were able to go back into the system, find the errors (all theirs), fix it and still get me credited and paid for the conversions.

When I asked neverblue to look into this some months ago, they came back and claimed they had no way of doing it.

I am certainly sure there must be some other affiliates out there who are having similar issues with NeverBlue. I would be interested in hearing back from you. This needs to stop. You know NeverBlue must be getting paid from conversions to your traffic, but they are unable to pay you??
