HI there,

Can I have feedback from people using an affiliate manager? where to get them? what's the deal? Do they sometime take on board new products (great niche, but just to new to show any descent income...) What are the criteria for them?

I will be completely honest, I don't want to learn it, I'm just not good at. I have just finished a report from Jimmy D. Brown and I just want to cry (not because of him of course:)

Thanks for sharing your experience or opinions.

"Affiliate manager" is a term used in the CPA industry to denote the person who is (for each affiliate) their "liaison person" with the affiliate network, advises them what to promote and how, what's currently successful, and so on.

The term also has another related use (from a vendor's perspective), not necessarily limited to CPA, as being someone employed by vendors to promote their own affiliate opportunities, and to recruit, incentivize, motivate, support and advise their affiliates. This would normally follow the completion of the set-up (i.e. arise after everything's relatively tweaked and tested, and the sales page already proven to convert targeted traffic).

I'm not sure if I, understanding! If you work with an affiliate network, you work with an affiliate manager...?

You get your own affiliate manager when signing up to a network. Some networks have 100s of affiliate managers while others only have a few.

Im an Affiliate Manager and personally the Affiliate and the Manager have to be on the same page... You can have a great Affiliate Manager and be a terrible affiliate. Sadly, the affiliate typically points all the fingers at the manager. That scenario works vice versa though.

Not sure which network has the best AM's but I'm sure there are plenty out there.

OP is there any offer that you want to get placed in a CPA network...if so then they do a lot of screening for advertisers these days. There is also a prepay that needs to be paid by you so that the network can be sure that you pay their affiliates for the money.

To find the Affiliate Manager, you first must think like the Affiliate Manager...

Actually you just need to sign up and be approved to a CPA network, then you get your very own AM!

Also, you mentioned that 'you don't want to learn it', if you don't want to learn CPA why are you forcing yourself to do so?
