How do you display adsense ad in WP?

I suddenly have an idea and will start a WP with one of my addicted habit. Years ago I did have a WP website with adsense, but the adsense cannot detect what are the words on my WP and look like just displaying very general ads. Is that normal or you guys use some add on to let adsense detects what are the contents iin your WP? Even though adsense can display reader interested topic, if WP can read the content then it would help adsense a lot to target the right ad then higher click %.

just do this: in the text area of your post drop your embed code and it should appear in seconds.

ads these have a lot to do with retargeting and user tendencies so they are more tailored to us.

    hope that explains it.

    best of luck,

This is a bad way to mange, since I would always making new posts, then it is hard or almost impossible to manage. Once more than 3 adsense adv the rest would not display. This way doesn't look nice too.

May be Adsense can tell what doest this blog .com about after days, but not by scanning WP content right after adding adsense since WP has so many frames and look like adsense cannot directly just scan it....this is just what I guess.

Create a text widget from your dashboard > Appearance > Widget > Text Widget and then paste your adsense code in the widget contents. Save the widget and there you go. Hope it works!

        For your success

Ensure you have verified the site first, then add a plugin if you like for placement. 3 max per page - wait a bit, does take a while to start working.

I quote from the wordpress page "The official AdSense Plugin, written by Google. Provides support for AdSense as well as Webmaster Tools."

Get it, use it and start potentially earning instead of wasting your time worrying whether it's official or not.

The widget method works perfectly too.

A good option for displaying adsense ads on your blog is a plugin called "quick adsense". It lets you insert adsense code to several places on your blog (above post, below post etc).

I personally don't like the official Google plugin, because it is cloaking how it works and also misses important features like to set where specific ads should be visible (e.g. on archive pages, post or static pages, etc.) and who should be able to see then (new visitors, logged in visitors, etc.). It might be just me, but I need these features for ad optimization.

I also wrote an overview about 5 plugins that allow the use of AdSense on 5 WordPress AdSense Plugins tested, but my favorite is my own Advanced Ads plugin since I can easily add the pro features that I really needed.

I just set up a new WordPress based website this week, and I can confirm firsthand that this is definitely the easiest and most flexible ad management plugin (without paying for a premium plugin).

Features I was looking for that were only available with this plugin was the ability to integrate more ad networks and the ability to display different ads for desktop and mobile.
