Questions on running CPA campaigns

Hi guys, I'm a beginner at CPA marketing, I just made my first convert yesterday and another one today.

I have some questions to the problems that I encounter so far, I hope you guys can help me.


1. Do display ads just pops out like PPV but on a smaller screen size? I'm using 50onRed if that helps.


2. I've been using Peerfly but I would like to try out Maxbounty. How to I direct link an offer with Maxbounty? I thought of using the code for the banner or contextual types, but they have slight differences.So I didn't try to use them.

Example:
mb123. com/XXXX=1234=12345=000000
mb123. com/XXXX=1234=654321=000000

I wish MaxBounty has a live chat tab in their website like in Peerfly. I ask them my question, but it has been a couple of days and still no reply. With Peerfly I was able to get answers immediately thru live chat.


3. Some offers does not allow PPV/CPV. Does that only apply to direct linking? What if I use the traffic from PPV then use my landing page that links to the affliate link/page, is it still not allowed?

    1. Display ads are typically just a banner on a website
    2. Give your am a call, they encourage this or just pick the traffic source that you are using for your links (for display ads pick banner, for PPV pick contextual )
    3. Yes, it typically doesn't matter if you use a landing page or not, if the offer says no PPV then no PPV is allowed (to confirm, call your am)

      1. Sorry, I'm still confused. I'm using PPV, what if my target domain is apple.com, where do they (50onRed) display the ads? The Apple website has no area for ads.

      2. I'll try calling next time. To be fair with them I haven't tried calling them, but then I would still appreciate if they reply to my emails.

      So its contextual tracking code for PPV. That's the tracking code I've been looking for.
