Where to host Lander for PPV traffic

Hi!

I've been direct linking to offers for some time now, sending only PPV traffic from Lead Impact, 50onRed and TrafficVance.

I've read that landers does wonders for conversions, but I don't know where to start. I've seen tutorials on how to design a lander, but where do I actually put the lander? Do I need to buy hosting for it?

I can easily buy domains, but I'm not sure about hosting as I've always used free hosting in the past (for my websites in the past, I use weebly, webs, etc).

My budget goes to traffic 100% of the time so I don't know how much to spend on hosting.

Any suggestion would be great. Thanks in advance!

Hello, typically you will need your own hosting and you would host your landing page on your hosting..

How much traffic do you get? This will determine on what type of hosting you should get..

There are a few options as far as landers go.

You can learn some basic HTML/Photoshop in order to be able to make your own landers from scratch. Although time consuming it provides the most benefits in the long run.

You can utilize 3rd party services that give you some assistance in creating landing pages by using their own software. Wix and UnBounce are a couple I often see suggested.

Your 3rd option is to enlist the help of someone to do it for you. Either through a service like Fiverr or someone else with adequate skills.

As far as hosting you should be able to find some pretty cheap options since using it for just landing pages doesn't require a whole lot.

    Hope this helps!

Get a VPS, you can look up some coupons on google and save lots of money.
My VPS costs me $11/month with a coupon and it's awesome.

You should definitely host your landers in your own servers.

    Good Luck,
    Leonardo.

Vps is not absolutely necessary. You can get hostgator for $3-$6/month. Think about getting vps once you get the concept of ppv and learning to make conversions. There is no point getting vps when you don't know mechanics of ppv and are struggling to get conversions. Once you have enough money from few good offers and conversions then think about expanding traffic source and that point of time it would be ideal to get VPS. Getting a VPS is non-essential expense whereas getting traffic to your offers is an essential expense. My suggestion is get regular cheap hosting like hostgator and move onto VPS when you decide to ramp up the traffic down the road. Minimize your unnecessary expense.

The problem with this approach is you will likely lose traffic with shared hosting with PPV, I have tried this and have noticed up to a 50% drop rate (depending on the hosting and amount of traffic), can you imagine only getting half of the traffic you paid for?

Rackspace cloud storage hosting is the best way to host landing pages. Rackspace litterally is a pay-as-you-go hosting service and only charges you for what you use. Landing pages load at 0.001 seconds with them. Its also perfect for Mobile landing pages because of fast the pages load.
