no pageviews in analytics
Hi,
I have a number of adsense sites, and yesterday the ads stopped showing on 4 of them out of the blue, and half an hour later they re-appeared. For some websites I continue to register clicks, and for one of them I don't. But what really intrigues me is that when I check the publisher section of analytics (the one pertaining to adsense) I see ZERO monetized pageviews, but the publisher impressions behave normal (are present, and get counted).
I have no idea what's happening. Any of you has went through this before and know the explanation?
It's true that over the last 2-3 days I tested various tracking codes (open web analytics, piwik, histats, etc.) but on only 2 of these websites. So, the other 2 have remained untouched, yet, they still don't register monetized pageviews.
I disabled/re-enabled all security/cache plugins, I cleared the cache. To no avail. Analytics just won't register monetized pageviews anymore. Could this be an update google made to their Adsense program? If it's so why only affect some of my websites, and not all of them?
