Can I Use PPV for Site That Contains Google Adsense

I would like to use ppv using related keywords to promote my blog which contains adsense ads. Is this allowed?

I read several blog posts and some say it is allowed according to Adsense TOS BUT there is a risk, other posts say it is definitely not allowed. They say it is a grey area.

I found this: https://support.google.com/adsense/a..._topic=1348566
..and it says you can buy traffic but you should be careful.

Which is it really? Please help.

If u build lander and then direct them to website, you should be ok. However directly sending ppv traffic would screw up the advertisers data and hence google is likely to frown on that and probably account banned.

I've started trying it, and the sources show as referral sites. Is that bad for advertisers?

Thanks. I've started it already. I use targets/keywords related to my niche so I hope it won't be an issue. I don't encourage visitors to click on anything and I have useful high quality content so hopefully my account won't get banned.

no issue with adsense but your new ad codes must follow adsense polices. means type of ads will be shown on your website must be following adsense tos.

What do you mean? I am using ad codes from Adsense itself, I got it from them. Why do I have to check that it follows their TOS when they are the ones who provided it to me? Can you please elaborate? Thanks!

    Update on this thread.

So I started using PPV for my blog late this May. I saw good Adsense estimated earnings. But upon the start of the new month, I saw that 90% of earnings from that blog was debited from the account as Invalid Traffic.

I am glad my account was not penalized and I spent less than $50 on PPV before finding out about this.

Hopefully this helps other people wondering about the same thing.

    Cheers!

Just want to post an update here again.
So what I did was create a lander that directs to either my homepage or the latest post in my blog. The lander is always the same photo as the latest post in my blog, with blog title and the first paragraph and then a Read More link.

Ooops I pressed the enter button now knowing it now automatically posts my comment (still not used to this new interface)..

So anyway, after 2 weeks without changing anything else (ppv traffic going to lander, lander to homepage or blogpost), my account was subsequently banned.

Sooo long story short, don't use PPV.
Am I saddened by Adsense disapproving/banning my account? Not really. It was a test anyway and I was prepared for the consequences of my tests.

I just wanted adsense as a backup anyway, I still have others that are worth pursuing. Thanks for everyone's comments!

PPV and adsense will not work because Google does not allow pop-ups and that is what PPV is.

I would stay away from any kind of traffic that involves toolbars, extensions, redirects, or adware installs if you are trying to send traffic to pages with adsense on it. Google's pretty smart at what they do and you'll end up with the ban hammer eventually.

The real question though is why would you want to send ppv traffic? It's relatively expensive traffic to begin with. Not to mention, if you are running adsense on a page, it's gotta be pretty safe which opens up networks like facebook and top tier content networks.
