More keywords results in bad adwords account performance!
Over several months of testing this is what I have discovered - and maybe others can provide their feedback:
In accounts where I uploaded 100's to 1000's of keywords per campaign vs accounts where I limited 20-50 keywords per campaign - the latter performed much better (I got lower QS and thus CPC).
Now keep in mind, I create 1 adgroup per kw, thus the first account has that many adgroups whereas the second account has limited and very focused adgroups/keywords.
Somehow I feel Google penalizes accounts that are non-focused and treating adwords as a testing ground (even though they profit more) compared to very focused and limited adgroup accounts.
