Sites that can get your Adwords account banned

I wonder if anybody can update me on the type of sites that can get your adwords account banned?

Also, I have heard that the whole Google account is banned at the same time including Gmail, I wonder if this is true?

I would stay far far far far far far far far away from anything that uses the "Google" trademark in their product's name especially if it pertains to making money online.

Certain forced continuity programs like **** berry are becoming very risky as well. Besides those offers are a sham.

    • I agree with John on the Google Make Money scams and **** as well as some other rebill offers.

Also awhile back lots of affiliates were talking about getting slapped or banned due to having review landing pages. That didn't make sense to me and Im not positive it was true but lots of affiliates were blogging about it.

I haven't had my account deleted at Google yet, but I have found out that they don't always accept affiliate links. For example, I tried posting an advertisement at Google Adwords for Real Arcade (one of the 82 affiliates or mine at Commission Junction), but they rejected my link because the display link and destination link have to match. However, it appears that they do accept some affiliate sites such as Global Domains International and The Spider Web System (was able to post my sign up link for both of those without any problems).

If your Adwords account is suspended, you cannot display any more ads and you cannot open any new Adwords accounts. However, you can still log into these accounts.

It doesn't affect your Gmail account.

Besides the sites already mentioned, there are other sites that Adwords doesn't allow. A list of these sites can be found in their help section, or visit this page:

They probably did not reject your affiliate link, you just had a wrong display URL in your ad.

If the URL is big and looking like affiliate they can cancel it . But I don't know abour banning.

I agree, anything with "google" in the product name don't touch.

Also, sometimes they use "inaccurate display url" when they really just don't like what you're promoting. I know it would be far easier to just tell you that, but that's google.
