Pay-Per-Call Conversion Tracking... An Easier Way?
Hi all,
I've been promoting Pay-Per-Call (henceforth just PPC) with a couple of different networks, and I've been LOVING it; probably going to drop all other affiliate type promotions in the next 6mths and focus just on PPC because it's so profitable, but I digress...
It's a pain in the ASS to track conversions from PPC leads - what is everyone doing to track conversions?
I know the network will obviously tell me what conversions I've been getting, but without a postback URL or conversion pixel it's been hard to determine what the highest converting traffic has been. Right now, I use a call forwarding service that generates multiple unique 1-800 or 1-888 numbers (sometimes local numbers) and I can assign each number to a different ad or traffic source, and then look at the analytics for the forwarding numbers to tell which source is getting the highest calls/conversions - but it's a headache to monitor.
Is there no affiliate tracking software specifically for Pay-Per-Call offers?
