Do we get more than what google Adwords charges us ?

Hey guys,
I am a newbie to the domaine of Affiliate Marketing.
I would like to know why does Google Adword charges us to pay money for keywords, for those who run adwords. I mean I don't get it if google charges us.. Does this mean that if we run Ads we are getting more money than what G-adwords charges us ?

    You still have a lot to learn when it comes to PPC. It's what your competition is bidding for that is why there is a bidding war for that particular keyword. You will need to learn to optimize the campaigns for greater ROI.

      what I was talking about is if I bed for an Ad whatever it is.. will I get more than what the Ad cost me ? because google says "you won't pay until they click on your ad"

      for example I create a campaign about the keyword "million" : when someone clicks on my Ad. Am I sure I'll get more than what google charges me ?

        You want to achieve 100% ROI right?

        For sure you can get more than what you are paying but to achieve the positive ROI you will need to optimize your campaigns properly.

    It all depends on your Campaigns ,and the ads you run ,no one will work with out Profit ,you will definitively gets profits less or more than your ad cost and it all depends on various factors like type of business,how effective your ad is and how good your service is.Run good ads to get good profits.
