Microsoft to shut down Ad Monetization platform
Microsoft announced that they will be shutting the Microsoft Ad Monetization for UWP (Universal Windows Platform) apps, or those apps distributed via Windows Store, on June 1, 2020.
And the reason? The program is "no longer viable for us to continue operating the product at current levels." Microsoft also suggests that developers should already start transitioning to other app ad platforms.
