How would you go from 3,000$ to 1 million in 6 months?

I want to see some ideas from an IM point of view. Because that's my BIG goal.

6 months we will round to May 30th.

Here's my situation.

20 y/o Lives at home with parents.
Works 5 days a week 30 hr's a week. Brings home 1200 a month.

I dabble in a wholesale real estate investment business that so far hasn't produced any fruits from my labor and has eaten around 1,500 of my money and at minimum 120 hours of my time.
I am now trying cpa offers specifically the walmart gift card campaign p2y has posted but I keep running into snags. I simply don't understand a lot of whats going on but I keep powering through and I am seeing the walls are coming down as long as I keep trying. Still no Pay checks yet.

I got a few goals...

1. Match the income I make from my job and move away from home. (50$ a day)
2. Double the income from my dead end job and quit working there and instead use that time to further my businesses. (100$ a day)
3.Purchase a house I'd want to live in, in the area I want to live in.(300$ a day)
4.Purchase a Car Id like to drive until I can afford a better car Id like to drive.( STI or Lancer Evolution)(400$ a day)
5. $2,740 a day = 1 million a Year(before Taxes) By MAY 30th

As far as earning riches through the slow and steady route goes...

I am putting away(for now $30 a month) into a savings account. It's not much but its a step in the right direction and can easily be increased with an increase in earnings.
#million #months

Good to set high goals but if you are looking for 1 million bucks in less than a year, it may work against you if you get discouraged like most people.

Other than that, your goals are good.

And I would suggest putting a percentage of earnings into your savings account. As you make more, which you should, you should save more.

and go with the Evolution. Been in the sti, and like the evo a lot better. just my opinion!

Those are some wild goals, man, but if you even get to a 10th of that is' obviously 100K a year, which is also great. To get to that kind of income stream you need to be looking at several methods combined to get to that income, not just one thing. So you will need to be learning about paid traffic like PPV, etc. You will have to be doing almost 100% outsourcing to get to that income level, for sure. Also, you may want to be combining your online income with online/offline methods where you are sharing the valuable internet marketing skills with offline businesses as a consultant. Anything is possible, man, and I will say in all likelihood to do that in 6 months is unlikely, but to get to that level in a few years is entirely possible with internet marketing.

    All the best.

Redicelande, I think you hit the nail on the head. You must outsource almost everything. You are also going to have to figure out how to get massive traffic. To get both of those are going to take lots of money to make a million dollars in six months. Here is one thing you may consider, take your online business offline with TV. You wouldn't believe all of the crap that people buy on those shopping networks. TV can generate a huge amount of traffic.

Good luck, I hope you can achieve it. Thinking and dreaming big is the first step.

Hey Ken, thank you for replying I love your posts in the other threads, they have been very informative. As far as goals go. Yeah I have always set wild goals for myself. I guess it's just the way I am. Dream Big or not at all. As far as car choice goes. I have been in both the sti and the evo. I like the sti because it can look like a very normal car yet stil perform phenomenally and the evo of course is just a straight beast. Well see which one would be better for me when the time comes but for now! Lets hear some more ideas!

I am going to combine the profits I make from IM with my knowledge in real estate investmant and pyramid homes.(Very risky I know but I want my million QUICK)

On the IM side I have created a website/blog thats focus is on Gift Cards. This site by the end of this month will probably have 5-10 landing pages for different offers best buy cards, home depot, walmart and what ever other cards I can find. I make a new blog post every time I create a landing page so more and more content is added all the time. I try to get relevant rss feeds on the home page and I am going to start post up commision based offers once I get the cpa stuff down. As far as focusing on getting offers to generate income I plan on putting all time and effor towards one cpa email offer at a time(starting with walmart) I am going to optimize the page for better clickthroughs. I am going to do ALOT of testing with the google adwords and I am going to do as much SEO stuff as possible. Soon after I figure out how all this stuff works on my own( I have learned a *&$& load about all this over the past week (when I originally took an interest ) I will begin outsourcing like redi suggests. to save time. Now on a 500$ a month budget including testing new ads in the begging that wont be as easy. But it's douable. I'll start with highering somoene to write interesting content and branch out from there.

My mind is WIDE open and I am trying to get multiple things in motion at once so please give me any ideas you might have. If it taked 5 months to get it going but its gonna produce a boat load in the last month I am all for it.

(Will be checking out PPV stuff)

Thank you for your post redicelander

Getting up to your income level isn't too crazy.

...But you have to start out knowing exactly what your doing. And that's your problem. (Don't worry we're all like that.)

You'll notice a time when everything just clicks and you'll go from 0-X a day and your mind will be blown.

The biggest thing I would actually tell you is to pick an area your really interested in, PPC, SEO, PPV etc,. (I'd go with SEO with your budget...)

...And from there take a week to find a course that will really help you. Whatever it may be. (Go for a more expensive one assuming you can afford it - maybe CB2.0.)

Read the product over and over and listen to everything in it. Assuming you like what the certain product goes over then just do it.

You'll fail, waste money, fail some more, go broke, but one day you'll get it. One day you'll log into your CPA/ClickBank account and you'll see you made your first sale(s) and from there you'll log in every day seeing more and more.

The best way I do things is by breaking them up. I'll rank, usually, four sites at a time to keep me busy. Once they're done i'll move on. This works for PPC campaigns too of course.

The best advice I can give you is to stick with one technique/area you like and just keep trying it and eventually you'll get it right. (Just don't expect to right away.)

    Zach

Set incremental goals and find out what will bring you closer to them. Achieve one of your goals at once, starting with getting enough money to live for 6 months without a job.

Great, it seems like you have a good plan adn you are motivated to get er done!

I would suggest initially doign everything yourself. Its a pain in the butt, but write your own content, do your own bum marketing, manually backlink, etc. Focus on free or cheap traffic. Once you make a few commissions, then reinvest in your business and start scaling.

Ive seen a few people start spending their money on outsourcing and shortcutting like its their job and then run out of cash and give up. I dont want to see this happen to you. Its best to start outsourcing once you are a little familiar with the industry ins and outs. It seems like youre relatively new, so wait to get a little familiar, this way you can optimize your outsourcing and minimize overall risk.

See you in the winners circle buddy

    Hello vendetta,

First, I would like to say that I love the way you are man. It's a good thing to set really high goals even if people tell you it can be very hard to acheive. I agree with many warriors above when it comes to completeing one goal at a time and then determing the next step.

I also understand that sometimes you want it now and you feel it will never come because of all the road blocks in the way. But, the thing here is to go out and keep on moving forward. I know of a 15 year old super affiliate that's still in high school making 5 figurs a mouth. He set goals for himself and then went out there and mad them happen. And he still lives with his parents.

What I trying to say is that I believe that you can have that car and move out and due all that you want to due but, the key here is not to procrastinate as your biggest enemy is yourself.

But in any case man, reach for the stars and don't stop there.

    Regards and good luck

I agree as I know of some one who made 60000 pounds on a shopping channel in one week selling watches imported for hong kong and now he claims to make 7 figures a year.

The problem with those shopping networks is the difficulty getting on them. EVERYONE knows how successful those shows are so EVERYONE is trying to get their product on the show. Much like walmart... If you are accepted welcome to millionair status. If you are rejected... keep on truckin. This is besides the point...

Anyway this thread was more of a what if thread then anything. To be honest 2 of those goals are CRITICALLY important to me in the next not 6 months but 2 months and those goals are

    1. Matching my income from work.
    2. Doubling my income from work.

    This allows me to
    1. move out. (that 15 y/o kid might not be concerned with having sex with woman in a bunkbed... at 20 y.o. Unfortunatly... or rather fortunatly I have run into this dilemma... Its not pleasant.

    2. Quit my job. This gives me more time freedom(instead of working 6 hours a day on my job then 6 more hours on my biz I just work a solid 8 and then im free to do what ever Not to mention I can spend more time working on the biz and get more campaigns and what not, set up for automated streams of income...
automated streams of income = financial freedom
For me that is 2500$ a month

Of course I dont stop with just 2500$ a month but its a nice 2nd goal

    Kiiller thread! Kickass attitude!

For what it's worth, I'll just say that the one major thing that held me back was my initial inability to focus. I bought product after product. I flittered from one half-finished project to the next.

On the flipsyde, I got a tiny bit of hands-on experience with a boatload of business models, but I didn't start making decent money until I had the self-control to buckle down and commit myself to one particular business model. Since you're looking to make LOTS of money VERY fast, try this:

    1. Find something that works

    2. Divide it into small one-at-a-time steps

    3. Convert it into a manageable, repeatable system

    4. Milk it for all it's worth

    Rinse and repeat.

...and to keep from getting distracted, stay the hell away from the WSO section!

You've inspired me man! Truly! You've opened my eyes to the possibilities that lie within the approaching new year!

      - Spend $100 and start a corporation

      - Spend about $50 and setup the basics (a phone and a business address)

      - Build your corporations credit up for about 30 days.

      - Use that 30 days to research the best sources and methods to get traffic (This is the hardest part of all) and 2 or 3 good high converting products that you can get a commission on

      - Get a corporate credit card. MasterCard or Visa, doesn't matter.

      - Use it and keep the rest of your cash!

      - Focus on your email lists - get Aweber.. They even have a $1 free month right now. Use the time to learn it.

      - Outsource any technical stuff that takes more than an hour for you to figure out you haven't gotten any closer to getting it done. Count your time as if you were getting paid $75 an hour. If it takes you 10 hours to do it, that's $750 gone. If you can outsource it for $150 .. outsource it!

Important and in my opinion only .. Internet Marketing "how to" products are not going to be an 'all in one' solution. What you'll start to see is that you'll read a lot and get a little gold nugget of information here and there. Start with the free warriors membership and work from there.

I'm not trying to sell my product but you asked what you should do and that's exactly what I do. I really try my hardest not to spend my money. I use other peoples money.

You can d/load the first phase of business credit building by visiting here. It's my product so no affiliate codes or anything and you can opt-out right after if ya'd like.

Remember though - Use other peoples money to take chances with.
Keep it in the form of a corporation because, if it does fail - your not personally liable for the loss. I'm sure you get what I'm saying there.

Point #2 I think is the most important. Internet marketing is not rocket science. You hear of 14 year olds doing 6 figures, you hear of people just starting out getting to 1 mil profit in just a year online. You hear of average joes going from $0 to $500 per day in just a few months. This stuff is true, maybe not every claim is true but many are 100% true. This isnt rocket science, sorry to sound like a broken record.

They problem is that a) many people think they are going to make a million overnight and dont want to put in the initial work and b) people jump around, cant stay focused, try 100 methods without focusing on any of them.

So it is soo important to break down your goals, break down your methods, break down you aciton plans into very small steps.

I have always been good at breaking a system down. I am notorious among co workers and friends for writing processes and ideas down... I don't know if its the ADD or the OCD but which ever D it is I do it WAY to much. My problem is remaining focused and believe me I try.

Thanks for the additional motivation and kind words everyone. Thanks goes to Vashie for some very basic but useful steps. I'm glad I could make a couple people laugh

Let's hope I am one of those cases who hits a mil profit in a year huh Ken

      Good luck bro.

I am planning on doing something similar once I get a couple of hundred in my paypal account.

The problem for a lot of people is getting that initial capital. Given that a lot of networks only pay a month in arrears, you can have cash flow problems just as your business is taking off.

the greatest thing I have ever read in the forum is "not wanting to have sex in a bunkbed"

you want to talk about a reason to accomplish something, this is for sure.

He knows why he wants to do it and uses that as motivation. He doesn't want to be rich just to be rich. But for the time and luxuries he can afford him.

I wish I was that motivated at 20

Keep up the good work. With your attitude you can accomplish anything you want

It is good to have goals and IM can really help you to achieve them. However, you should know that things are not so easy. It is true that people are making big money here but they get success gradually and after efforts and using their brain. So fix your goals gradually, focus on them, be patient and work hard even 10 hours per day.

    GOOD LUCK

To earn that kind of money, I will suggest you to do:
    Some massive productlaunches. Notice: Massive.
Learn how to import and sell stuff on eBay (If you do this you could very easy pull in at least $500 per day) - Of course. That might need some capital to begin with... But once you are up and running, you will be earning money.
    Flipping websites is always good.

When you start to earn. Now its time to invest in shares. Hmm a good thing here is maybe to be interested in this before you start investing, so this might not always be a good tip for everyone.

Dont forget to quit your job, and sometimes hire other people to maybe do the design etc. Just to save you time. Don't worry on spending $300 on a beautiful design. It is an investment that you will get back 100 times that little sum.

Keep being motivated and you will earn your money.

    Good luck!
