The thing which makes me laugh about this, in december all these companies are going to get screwed. 10-20lbs in 30 days by taking there pill is a load of crap and isnt doable. That would require some serious diet, about 45 min cardio in the gym 5 days a week and then yeah your loose it. Dec 1st is gonna be interesting.

Ty for the information, I'm gonna try it out, where do you post on craigs list?

haha butters trust me I know what dieting means. Pills will help but its all about how you eat. This is why I said ask your AM, but honestly look at flogs they are full of BS yet they allow them and some networks even give them to their affiliates. Well you basically post in the volunteers section. Will I guess you got a day to make money . Get to it.Think outside the box though

Hehe I do have a day and already a domain, lets see what happens, last question, do you post multiple times on craigslist or just once? I think craigslist only allows you to post a few times.

The new FTC rules, you will have to say the average results instead of over inflated numbers, so no more earn 10k in 1 day type things.

Are you serious? This method is complete nonsense.

    1. I haven't heard of a single CPA network that accepts Craigslist traffic. Good luck finding one.

    2. Did you forget about the $1,500 that you're offering the customer? Is this supposed to appear from thin air and fall into their lap or what? By the way, this would qualify as incentive traffic, and I might have seen ONE health offer that accepts incentive traffic. Good luck finding any others, and good luck with your customer support when you get an angry mob that wants their compensation.

    3. What about the rebill that hits them in 3-7 days after the purchase? You don't mention that to the customer at all, and don't think that the majority of them will read the fine print on the advertiser's LP. So now you have a bunch of angry customers that have lost $80 on your offer and aren't getting the $1500 you promised. Mmm, I smell a lawsuit brewing.

And you wonder if this method is BlueFart?

Angry customers which can't do nothing in all honesty, if the offer says they will be entered into a $1500 competition or something and you put that then all what he done isn't going to bring you a law suit. The text is there, if people don't bother to read it then its there own fault, they have been informed so its there mistake.

Thats very true and I don't like lying to people, but wake up and smell the fresh roses Roman they don't care. The way I was honestly thinking about it is not exactly like butters even though he is right. I think about it this way maybe they will order the stuff try it lose weight and not care about the charges because it works. I was really trying to open peoples mind with this. Sorry if I did something other than that.

And people ask themselves why there are sooo many problems with Free Trail offers? If the network or advertiser finds out your doing this method, your account WILL be shut and any commissions paid will become null and void.

Not to say that the method won't work, I'm sure it will bring in some good conversions, but those conversions won't last long. They will cancel out after 1 month, If that.

Now here is the kicker. Again, those who want to follow the FTC and do things legit, are at a disadvantage to those who do not care about the silly FTC rules and have no problem misleading people. All this crap the FTC is putting out, is NOT leveling the playing field. It's putting the honest folks at a MAJOR disadvantage.

Just created my offer but I did it fully white hat , gave away a good free 4 week exercise plan, told them about the **** stuff, told them in bold that they should read the terms because they will be charged extra after 14 days. Lets see what happens .

Only thing which sucks is, I can post to america on craigslist since I don't live there and I can verify my account to post there

There are countless ways to make money by scamming people...both online and offline.
We all have to make many decisions as to how to run our businesses from both an ethical and legal point of view.

On December 1, the new FTC regulations set out some specific guidelines that everyone has to follow regardless of the general ethics of their marketing. However, scamming people is already both unethical and legally actionable. The fact that some people get away with FLOGS and other totally misleading marketing tactics does not make it right or legal. Many of these companies are constantly going out of business and forming new corporations to stay one step ahead of the ultimate consequences...and they take all kinds of measures to shelter as much of their assets as they can, so when they are inevitably cut off by their merchant accounts (There are only so many chargeback and fraud complaints that merchant accounts will tolerate) or by civil or criminal legal actions, they can start over and keep as much of their profits as possible.

My 17 year old daughter has been looking for a job, and of course one of the places she
              is looking is on Craigslist.

I have educated her on things to look out for, and she always shows me when she comes
across something questionable. It seems like a high percentage of job listings are total bs. There is someone who has been posting in the jobs section that you can make $1400 or 1500 by participating in a weight loss study (could be two different scammers or someone testing different price points). Of course when she asked for more information they told her to take before and after pictures and sent her to a free trial offer for an **** product.

There obviously is no way that anyone will receive $1400 or $1500 as a result of this ad. Any legitimate research study would be providing the tested product at no cost.

The intent is to trick someone like my daughter, who is looking for a job because she needs more money, to sign up for a bogus free trial offer that will be difficult to cancel and will end up putting her in a worse position than when she started out.

Every person who you scam through these methods is somebody's daughter, sister, mother, son, etc.

There are so many ways to make money while actually providing people with value, I simply don't get why people think it is good to make money in ways that cause hardship to others.

Hey Roman just to clear things up for you I saw this ad on Backpage and wanted to share it with the warriors. I agree it looks blackhat not bluefart but thats why I said in the BOLD words think out side the box. It can easily be turned in to a whitehat method. Just think. Also just chill a little I'm not forcing warriors to do this only trying to get them to think outside the box.

Thats why I said to talk to you AM. Don't take it personal its just a tip to help people think outside the box. I'M NOT SAYING DO BLACKHAT. It's pretty messed up to think you just paid $5 when they will charge you $80 later. Trust me I understand. So this is solely for the reason to get people to think.

Yea trust me I tried at looking at the electronics section on craigslist and most of it is full of those email submits. Backpage? Forget about even looking there evey single part of it is filled with ads. I honestly don't see the reason to scam anyone because it will end up bitting you in the ass. I really just wanted this to be a helpful eye opener and everyone is taking it in the wrong way that am asking people to scam other people.

This is black hat. But it works.

The sales page has the $1500 reward stated there. The poster is not the one offering the $1500. Some offers are for $1000.

Trial offers are here to stay. It is up to the buyer to read the terms and conditions.

For the fun of it, I decided to reply to the ad to see the offer.

        Here is the URL- http://www.corillianstudies.com/WeightLossStudy/

That takes you directly to the landing page.
Interesting enough, I see no disclaimer on the page, no terms, nothing.
I do see, at the bottom wording that states every single person who enters will get the 1500 payment.

        AMAZINGLY MISLEADING!

What network is running this? Any legit network would be staying VERY far away from using a landing page like that.

          Mr Moe,

You're fairly new here so I will cut you some slack and offer some observations instead of merely chastising your post.

          1. Thinking outside the box is good
          2. This method is the type of deceptive crap that will: give you a bad rep, piss people off, and possibly get you in legal trouble
          3. It is unsustainable
          4. Please make positive contributions to the forum (ie whitehat practices)

I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying, so I will clarify...

The way your post was written, it appeared that you are doing this method and advising others to do it.

That's the way I read it.

I am not reporting this thread, I was saying that when I am on a classified ads site and come across ads like that, I flag the ad.

Again, it is not my intention to pick a fight or offend you. You stated your points and I am just stating mine.

I am sorry, i dont want to be rude to anyone, but where is our humanity and feelings for another human beings life? its just makes me sad to think that we as huan being are going that low and willing to make a couple of dollars at the expence of sombody else loosing couple of hundred dollars, which is not the important part, the important part is us breaking another human beings heart when he or she finds out that it was all a scam and us trying to make a couple of dollars by lying and misleading them to whatever it is. Do we ever think how it feels to be on the other side?
I m not pointing at anyone, if there is anyone it should be me. i mean i know we all have bills to pay, but is it really worth it to break another human beings heart? specially in stuff related to waight problems. most people who are looking for such product are already suffering from low selfsteam, and you know what this would do to a person like that? really? for $10,$20,30... we are willing to do this...?

I m not pointing at anyone, if there is anyone it should be me. i mean i know we all have bills to pay, but is it really worth it to break another human beings heart? specially in stuff related to waight problems. most people who are looking for such product are already suffering from low selfsteam, and you know what this would do to a person like that? really? for $10,$20,30... we are willing to do this...?
      I agree 100%.

My #1 rule in life is the golden rule - do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

That carries forward in my marketing and sales efforts.

I sleep very well at night!

There are completely whitehat ways to promote RFT offers and there are completely legit RFT offers. Stick to those and focus on building a sustainable long term business. I think the goal for almost everybody on here is to create passive income streams, to be able to make money in the future without doing a lot of work by setting up systems now that will generate money passively.

A lot of new people start out with blackhat stuff because they dont yet believe in whitehat or arent confident enough to pursue only whitehat methods.

In the long run, whitehat will make you most money with least work, nevermind helping you sleep well at night.

Everybody getting along, i like it!

But yes, there are many marketers both internet and not that dont seem to bring their integrity with them when its time to clock in and out of work. I think its more pervasive on the internet because you can hide behind a name and idenity that will probably never be revealed. The philosophy I use is that I will not do anything on the internet I would do face to face with somebody.

I think if more people followed this principle, the industry would clean up a lot
