Hello everyone,

I am fairly new here however I have been reading and reading lots of reports here. I do have extensive experience with computers, and the information technology field in general. This also includes IM.

I unfortunately have no prior experience with CPA's, though I did make $$ in the past with PPC websites.

I signed up for numerous CPA affiliate websites (listed here on warrior forum) including cpalead.com. I do have a plan for gaining a list, and marketing the website however I do not know what to do at this point. Assuming that my application does get accepted by at least 1 affiliate site, what should I be looking at next?

I can make web designs and program without issues, should a landing page be the next step?

My goals are as follow:
short term: $50/day
mid range: $100/day
long range: $150/day

Any help is appreciated!

Go to Google Trends, see what's hot.
Write related articles with CPA link. Send viewers to your Landing Page first. (you don't want anyone knowing where your traffic is coming from)

If you don't know how to create a landing page, make sure to learn how to soon. BlueVoda is a brilliant for creating simple and effective pages.

Bravo75, can you explain a little more?

When I write an article, it takes a while between submitting and accepting, then a longer time to get indexed in Google. By then the trend is gone?

So what do you do with the article? Publish it on your own website or where? How to get it indexed quickly? How to get traffic to the article?

      Thanks in advance..

So, you want to sell me another way to easily make "X" dollars in "X" days? ROFL too funny! IM success requires hard work and lots of time. Most newbies do not survive the steep learning curve. Anyone who says otherwise is probably selling you a fantasy.

Got your PM. Using Articlebase, I sometimes have the article on the first page of Google when using the right keywords. The other week I was going through Google Trends and I seen that Cyber Monday was hot. I wrote an article about Cyber Monday that evening. It was on the first page of google in minutes. That article got over 1000 views in 3 days and made about $200. The article pointed to a landing page which I through up in no time. I bookmark all articles and also post something about the related topic on a blog with the article link in it. I don't know if this is the pro thing to do, but it seems to work for me to keep the article on 1st page for longer. In case you are wondering what the made me the $200, it was the BestBuy gift card

This is a great example of matching the correct offer to the traffic.

Excellent job - I commend your efforts and suggest others absorb the lesson.

          Regards,

Do you redirect your cpa link with a domain or as is? Will conversion be better with a domain?

I really can't be sure. I am an intermediate marketer and not an expert. What I can say is though, is that sending a visitor to a clean simple Landing Page with strong headlines and clear calls to actions seem to do a lot better than redirects, for me anyway.

You are right on. The reason this works so well is that when you decide to move into list building, LPs become even more essential. Say you're LP is for a dating website. You can have a little opt-in and say "Sign-up today! Enter your e-mail and get access to the best dating sites online." You now have their e-mail and the ability to e-mail these people new dating sites, attraction offers, beauty, weightloss, etc. over time. The possibilities are seriously limitless. If you have any LPs getting decent traffic everyday, I highly recommend doing this method with whichever CPA offer. It doesn't matter. You can always find related CPA offers to toss at the lists once a week. Set up campaigns and LPs targeting females only. Then do ones for males only. Theres so many offers for females and males its just awesome. Don't leave money on the table.

I've never driven traffic to CPA offers via article marketing, but it's the next thing on my list. I just gave you guys million dollar advice, so help me out here Are you guys just going after trends or doing basic SEO research to find keywords? Are you then bookmarking the crap out of the article to get more traffic? SENuke? Let me know.

Article marketing is great - and its Free! Unlike PPC you not only save $$ hard earned but the content will remain on the web-sphere with your links, even when they finally become archived.
The only downside is it takes some more time and effort unless you decide to outsource it to some trusted freelancers.

Regarding keywords and some SEO stuff - you need to do your normal keyword research and some SEO techniques like in title, first sentence or paragraph, body etc. Just do not over-do it. I find 3-5% density for keywords is excellent. Needless to say some bookmarking helps wonders, stumble, mixx, digg, propellor and why not try posterous too. I find it awesome with a multitude of interactions at one click.

Ultimately nothing works better than free and targeted traffic.
PPC is great for fast results when done correctly (laser targeted focus and good keyword research stuff).
Good luck with your article campaigns.

Congratulations on that fine result. Are you in Vancouver? I'm not far from there.

When you "bookmark all articles", where do you do that? A Social site or something?

Also you "related topic on a blog", is that blogger? Is it a public blogging service that is quickly indexed, or your own blog on your own website?

Thanks for the input, much appreciated!

No, I am in Edmonton, from the U.K though just in case you start slating me for being an Oilers fan

I use Senuke to do all my social bookmarking automatically. And yes, I use Blogger. I think they have come a long way and have tons of great themes and free templates these days. Of course I have my blog pointed toward my own domain, so unless you are an IMer or somebody somehow involved with websites or grapic design or anything like that, you would never know it is a blog. Most would probably say that Wordpress is much better than blogger but I have been using blogger for quite some time now and I can't really be arsed learning how to use Wordpress

Thats why some WSOs and other comprehensive guides are key. Many WSOs and guides focus on a specific method, but try and find a comprehensive one that gets into everything from a very broad perspective down to the actual actions involved

I'm currently going with youtube as a method for CPA's. I purchased a very interesting WSO on this technique and I think it has great potential.

I do have a niche, and expertise in that industry so I believe the CPA's I am offering (related to that industry) will be worth it.

Youtube I think is the most underrated free traffic source. This was my first moneymaker when I started and I am still reaping consistent rewards for the work I did 1 year ago. Thats the beauty of youtube...once the videos are up, they probably arent going anywhere for a long time, meaning you make autopilot money for a long time

      autopilot money is my favorite

So today I took a completely different approach. I submitted a few articles and posted a few youtube videos related to those articles. All are linked to my site (which redirects automatically depending on the link to the appropriate affiliate link).

I see others getting $20-$50 a day already however I'm still getting nothing so I dont know what I'm doing wrong here. Perhaps time to use adwordS?

If you wanted to start making income online you could also sell services to people. For example you know web design and what not. This is a good way to gain momentum in the online world if you have never made a penny before. MANY people need programmers.

Not by any mean to hijack your thread, but I have similar problem with OP.

I've already have a website with decent traffic every month. Went out with Adsense and think the keywords price is way too cheap $0.01/click.

How am I going to add CPA offers to an existing website?
Which CPA network would you guys suggest?

Having a career as a CPA can be a rewarding experience, whether you work for a large company or go out on your own as an LLC or Sole Proprietor.
The following are some tips for getting started.

    1. Getting in

Whether you intend to go out on your own or stick with a large office, getting in can sometimes be the most challenging part of the career process.

Most accounting offices look for new-hires who have degrees in accounting. Many will hire students straight from undergrad but having a master's degree is general a huge financial benefit.

If you're still a student, contact your university's career development office for a list of accounting companies that will be visiting your school. Schedule an interview or submit your resume to the school's online database (most schools have one). Be sure make personal contact with each employer that visits your school. Chances are you will be one of hundreds of students each recruiter talks to in a given hiring season. Make yourself remembered by dressing and acting professionally at all steps of the hiring game.

If you're outside of school, check out online job websites for accounting office listings. You can also contact the human resource departments of local accounting offices where you would like to work. If you have been out of the accounting field for some time, it's important that resume reflect what you have been doing accurately, but with an accountant's twist. For example, if you have taken a cross-country car-trip for the past year between jobs, let your future employer know that you have been active during your time off, and not just loafing around the house waiting for something to come up.

    2. Establishing relationships with your clients
Once you have the job with a big company, it is important that you have a solid relationship with each of your clients. Make sure they know that you know not only their names and business, but also the activities of their children and other family members. Your relationship not only helps to establish the bond between accountant and client, but it also helps you to do their taxes as strategically as possible. For example, if you know that your client's oldest daughter just bought a house and the client is helping to pay for it, your client may not know it, but there could be some tax benefits to their generosity.

Furthermore, when the time comes for you to break out from your company in order to establish your own freelance accounting business, it will be vital to have a strong client base - folks who will not only continue to use your services, but who will recommend you to their friends and colleagues. While often times accountants will not be permitted invite clients with them if they leave the company, it is always possible that your clients will choose to use your services based on your past demonstrated expertise and customer service.

    3. Growing your business
Once you have your career as a CPA begun, it is important that you see it grow. If you're working in a large corporation, the company generally takes care of the marketing and advertising. But if you're working on your own, you are responsible for getting new clients.
Email your friends to let them know of your new business plans. Send postcards to neighbors and local business owners. Take out an ad in your local theater's playbills. Personalized, targeted advertising works and will be the most effective way to get new clients.
