My first site, need help

Well its a blog site, dedicated to help people work on their car or truck, while saving time and money. Its a work in progress, I feel like I am at 50% finished. Just getting the information in and waiting for approvals on affiliate programs. But its my first site, I'm trying my best. Would like all your custructive critisism and tips, and suggestions on where I should go with my blog.

    Your site looks very good! It's well laid out and makes sense to the eye.

    However, CPA companies do not like free blog services all that much. Now I'm not saying they will turn you down based on that but it doesn't score very high with their acceptance process.

    They like to see an actual 'domain'. A domain that you, the applicant actually owns. It shows more stability and a better presence. Think of it this way. When applying for certain types of credit it is far better to own a home than to rent a home. Why? because owning displays a stronger presence. It says "I'm here to stay", if not permanently than at least for awhile.

    Works the same way for CPA networks. Your acceptance rate will increase if you 'own' a domain.

        Thanks for the reply. I will soon add videos! I was thinking, is there an affiliate program for YouTube? For I can post related videos that associate with my topics and would really start attracting more traffic. I don't have much clicks per day for it's not really noticed yet. Have any more suggestions? I really want to make this work. Thanks

      Really? I was thinking it's way too amatuer looking. I can purchase that domain name anytime. It's just right now it's in the begining stage to where m grttig all the information in. I have got a few approvals from some affiliate programs and will insert them in tonight. Another problem I ran into on my site is that it's just one page. Can't really be directed to other pages. Is that how blogger runs it's blogs? Or am I doing something wrong? For when I have all the information posted it's going to be like 30 different topics and one looong page to scroll down.

    Hi Michael,

    That's a nice looking site with good colour scheme. The only reservation I have is over the wording that introduces your services. I found that after the headline my eye went immediately to the first post. It may not make any difference but you might want to test at some stage by giving more prominence to what you're offering.

    Other than that it's looking good, well done!

    ok I see what your saying. I'm still trying to figure out how to organize my page so its easier to navigate and not too cluttered. I was thinking of incorporating videos related to the topics through YouTube but I can seem to find an affiliate program with YouTube.
