Landing page optimization

I am working with a few landing pages on the CPA networks and want to optimize them. This is such a tricky thing to do. Does anyone have any advice on how I can Effectively optimize my pages instead of taking it to a network and blowing tons of money? I'm all ears!

      of course, they are complete pages, have copy and everything (Im not just building them now) I just want to know if anyone has advise on how to optimize it in a smart way and not throw money at it hoping it gets better. You can a/b test it by doing minor changes on the page but those changes are usually guesses and a shot in the dark. Does anyone have any better way of doing this?
