Advice needed about clickbank.

I am interested in having a click bank account but first I would like a little advice of anyone who has a clickbank account.

How do click bank pay? Do they have a payment option for paying people from the UK in pounds sterling as I am from the uk.

I am intending to sign up as an affiliate and sell other peoples products. I have heard that if you have not had an active account for more that one year then they will take $1 a day out of any earnings you have in your click bank account. Is this also true for affiliate accounts?

Thanks in advance.

I am also in the UK and get paid by direct deposit into my bank account in £s. For secuiruty reasons you can only do this if you have received two paper cheques.

In the mean time you can get payment by cheque in US $ and you can pay these directly into your UK bank account (usually for a fee - my bank charges £5 for up to 6 US$ cheques).

You need to have sales from 5 different CC numbers and two different payment methods before they will release your first payment.

    Cheers

      Thanks all for your information

I am thinking about trying clickbank but first I think it is better to get a popular site built and promoted before I think about clickbank.

I'm also from UK. My bank charges £10 to convert which I think is very expensive. I suspect that some banks will do it for far less.....maybe even free? Anyone in UK get their direct deposits or cheques converted free?

I was told that Barclays bank do not charge for cheques under $50 and there is a small fee for cheques over $50.

You will have to ring them to confirm this.

          Hope that helps

Whats most important is that Clickbank pays paid on time everytime - and has done this for years. Im sure you can find a place in the UK where you can cash those checks!

    Good luck!

As everyone else said most banks in the UK will charge you a fee to convert US into GPB. You are right that Clickbank does deduct money from non-active accounts but if your working hard then that shouldn't be a problem.

My clickbank advice: quit promoting there. It's much easier to promote a 1.99 trial than a 39.00 ebook - both selling the same thing.

    Just my 3c.
